Due to recent escalation of violence in Poland, the National Diet has allowed the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) to utilise available resources and airdrop humanitarian aid in and near the Polish capital, Warsaw.

The supplies are to be provided to civilians trapped in the midst of the fighting between two sides of the Polish Civil War aswell as medical aid for soldiers wounded in combat.

The government of Japan officially remains neutral on the conflict but has provided sanctuary and political asylum for Polish citizens and refugees seeking to escape from persecution and political suppression in their homeland.
