Starting a few days ago, a few nations around the world witnessed the crash landings of foreign objects within their borders. The foreign objects previously appeared to be of unknown origin and lied with ominous intent. Soon, one by one, machines of superior technology rose from the objects. The machines are described to be 3-legged, with a disc shaped body. Slowly, they began their aggression upon the cities and towns, murdering hundreds and thousands of civilians. Reports from foreign nations show the machines to be militarily superior too, with many contingents being wiped out. The extraterrestrial machines are said to come from Mars, and it is currently believed to be a Martian invasion.
After observing and collecting reports from foreign nations, the situation of the Martian invasion was brought up by the parliament and brought to the Overseer's attention. Many hours of debate went by, with the parliament split on how to deal with forces beyond comprehension. While some voted to isolate ourselves and hide, others voted to coexist and make peace with the Martians to avoid annihilation. However, the Minister of War had this to say, "In the interest of the self, the Republic, and of mankind, we must make a stand. No foreign force, even extraterrestrial, should scare us, for pacifism is no longer an option. The days of isolation are over. Have we as a Republic forgotten what happened to us when we layed dormant? We were brutally attacked. Now is the time for us to act. No longer shall we lay dormant and await for the enemy's arrival, the enemy shall now fear of our arrival. Therefore, the Ministry of War persuades the parliament to declare war upon the Martians." Following the Minister of War's persuasion, the majority of the parliament agreed in waging war against the Martians.
On 29 March 2084, the Overseer signed the proposed declaration by parliament into action. The Socialist Communist Kah Republic is to wage war upon the Martians.
