The Consolidation Conferences

The Consolidation Conferences were a series of meetings held after the end of the Colonies War between the Federated Cities of Happy and the Kingdom of New Egypt. The purpose of the conferences was to discuss the possibility of unifying the two nations into one entity.

There were many supporters of unification, including Pharaoh Sayid Oba of New Egypt, who saw it as a way to bring stability and prosperity to the region. However, there were also many opponents, including Queen Nubia Oba of New Egypt, who feared that unification would lead to the loss of the distinct culture and identity of the Kingdom.

The conferences were held over the course of several months, with representatives from both sides coming together to discuss the terms of unification. The talks were difficult and often contentious, as both sides had their own interests and concerns.

Despite the challenges, the conferences ultimately led to the signing of the Articles of Unification, which laid out the framework for the future Constitution of the United Cities. This document established the principles and values that would guide the new nation, including democracy, equality, and justice for all.

The Consolidation Conferences were a turning point in the history of the region, marking the end of the Colonies War and the beginning of a new era of cooperation and unity. The legacy of the conferences lives on today in the United Cities, which stands as a beacon of hope and progress for the entire continent of Australia.

The Federation Discussions

The Federation Discussions were a series of talks that took place after the signing of the articles of unification, which served as a framework for the future constitution of the United Cities. The discussions were held in order to take the guidelines set out in the articles of unification and turn them into a concrete, detailed document that would serve as the foundation for the new nation.

The talks were held over the course of several months and were attended by delegates from all of the participating cities. The discussions were intense and sometimes contentious, as the delegates worked to iron out the details of the new constitution. Many issues were debated and negotiated, including the structure of the government, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the role of the military.

Despite the challenges, the Federation Discussions ultimately resulted in the creation of a strong and durable constitution that has served as the foundation of the United Cities for over eight decades. The document established a democratic system of government, with power divided between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. It also ensured the protection of civil liberties and the rights of all citizens, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Today, the United Cities is a thriving nation with a strong and stable government, thanks in large part to the hard work and determination of the delegates who participated in the Federation Discussions. Their efforts helped lay the foundation for the nation we know today, and their legacy lives on in the strong and united nation that we are proud to call home.
