For Two Weeks violent protests have sparked all over Listhentonople City. Listhentonople City, once the capital of Listhentonople, was annexed by the newly formed ”Conservita People’s Republic“ after the second Conservitan-Listhentonople War. Ever since, the Conservitan Government, with the leadership of King Luhansk, has been moving across the countryside and claiming land off of what was the country of Listhentonople. The Listhentonople people have been outraged by the actions of the Conservitan Government and have been calling for Listhentonople to gain independence from the Conservita Peoples Republic. “ Luhansk is a War Criminal“, “King Luhansk is a warlord” and “Down with Conservita“ are chants that have been heard by protesters across Listhentonople city. Leading these protests are newly formed Listhentonople nationalist paramilitary groups looking for Listhentonople independence.
The Listhentonople paramilitary groups are heavily armed and have beaten any riot control attempts by Conservitan Police. Civil unrest in the City had gotten so widespread that King Luhansk ordered Conservitan special forces unit “KnightHawk Company“ to be sent in with Tank, Artillery and Helicopter support. KnightHawk company is a Conservitan military unit that consists of the most highly trained and skilled soldiers the Conservitan Military has to offer. After almost two weeks of the protests, KnightHawk company entered Listhentonople City. The first few days of fighting dragged on between the local insurgency and KnightHawk company as Air Support was not yet available and artillery and tank units have not been stationed yet. Once KnightHawk Company pushed the local insurgency out of the ”Fakeland“ Embassy, the group stationed there until support was available.
After spending a day in the embassy, artillery strikes using “Howitzer“ cannons took place upon Insurgency checkpoints throughout the city to weaken the enemies position. “T-14 Armata“ tanks rolled into Listhentonople City and with Air Support from “KA-52 Blackshark” attack helicopters, most of the local insurgency was eliminated and the remaining few insurgency members outside of the city hall surrendered. Once the majority of the city had been taken back by Conservita after days of Artillery bombardment and Tank and Helicopter combat, KnightHawk company raided Listhentonople City hall, which had been fortified by the local insurgency. After three hours of combat, the city hall had been taken back by Conservita thanks to KnightHawk company.
The Conservitan national guard moved into the city after it had been taken back to make sure another local insurgency wouldn’t start in the city. King Luhansk came out with an official statement saying “I’d like to thank our special forces group, ’KnightHawk Company’ for the amazing work they did in Listhentonople City. I’d also like to thank our Tank Drivers, Pilots and Artillery Men who took part in this operation.”
A casualty report has been released by the Conservitan Government stating that sixteen Members of KnightHawk company were injured and two were killed. The report also states that only two tanks were lost out of the 60 that were sent into the city. Astoundingly, no helicopters were shot down during the operation.
