Rimskaya Claims South America in Response to New Olsztyn Attack

It was always expected Aequitas would place Rimskaya under near perpetual attack, and indeed that has been the case. However, one of the older states we had known of, The New Olsztyn Order State, has joined in the warfare. This move caused mass outcry by the Rimskayan people, having been at odds with them before over our Socialist crusade to liberate the New World was voluntarily stopped to respect their territorial sovereignty.

In response to the aggression, Democraticus and the Rimskaya Legislature, which to add is now under total control of the Rimskaya Revolutionary Council (R.R.C.) as basically the Jacobins of Rimskaya (but without the head chopping and terror), the government has announced total de-facto claim on South America, proclaiming:

"The Revolution demands we come down there as a matter of defending our state. Those opposed to this move are opposed to Rimskaya's survival."

While not much can be done in terms of the war except weather through it and repair with time, Rimskayan patriotism has surged recently to a level where government officials are worried about the potential rise of Nationalism within the state. Most of these claims have been met with accusations of "counterrevolutionary sentiment" and calls to impeach these officials and try them for treason. Democraticus has met with the government and people as a result of this to prevent degenerating violence and chaos.

In the realm of Aequitas, which Rimskaya has given an independent broadcast committee that branches off from the R.S.P.C. as non-aligned politically, we have already sought out a few minor pacts, but the act of unification of a large number of alliances is feared to be in jeopardy by Aequitas' apparent inability to defend itself. Democraticus has assured that no amount of war can stop the march forward, and that pacts with Aequitas will continue to be suggested, idealizing that:

"With time, every attack they throw shall be more and more costly. Under their strikes, they weaken themselves forcefully, morally, and in their international image, as opposed to the will of the people. 

The Coven, for allowing these attacks, has set itself up as a rival to the idea of new nations having a say and a chance without them- it is Nationalism at the highest regard. I say that with caution to recent events within Rimskaya, but we can all say here equally, that those new to Orbis should consider Aequitas for such power in themselves and others. 

Those who show us aggression shall only find themselves alienated, and someday, their options to gain power in the face of their actions will be diminished, and from there, Aequitas, her branches, and her allies, shall carry the day."
