Recently due to the situation in regard to the Japanese invasion as well as the warlord's the Republic of China has been conducting ongoing talks with the Chinese National Republic on the CNR peacefully rejoining the Republic of China and forming a coalition government between the National Republicans and the ROC.
Unlike the Communists or the Eastasinaists or the Neo Blue Shirt fascist movement the National Republicans are the most ideological similar to the ROC, Be it a more right-wing interoperation.
The Chinese National Republic was founded by 45 year old Yu Lee, Yu Lee in his 20s was a member of the Neo Blue Shirt Movement, however as he grew older, he felt that the Blue Shirt's ideology was too brutal, as he later believed that ideas such as Ethnic or National superiority or justifying torture was simply not in his taste and he felt that some of the principles of the Blue Shirt movement needed to be tweaked and moderated down a bit, And due to the Social conservative reforms of the KMT in the 2020s when the ROC finally retook the Chinese Mainland from the collapsing communist regime led by Xi Jinping he was for the most part content with the situation as besides Tibet China was fully reunited under the blue sky white sun banner and around that time he left the blue shirts and joined the KMT.
However, Yu Lee later felt betrayed when the ROC just allowed Tibet to more radically leave the Chinese orbit as well as Manchuria being allowed to leave the ROC without any attempts to keep Manchuria in China proper or to at least keep it in its orbit, He felt that while a territory of said Country had the right to leave if the people really want it, he did however felt shameful that the ROC made no attempts to reform the relationship in turn keeping the ROC's borders, He also felt that the ROC was way too relaxed with Political Islamism parties in the Country causing ethnic tensions between a embolden the Uyghurs to harass the ethnic Han and to flaunt radical Islam. He also felt that the National Republic of Poland led by Brandon Mirsaw was a great example of how a nation should operate, very heavy strict cultural norms in the society and a limit on foreign exports as to not interfere too greatly in the culture, he also felt that passively the ROC was slowly becoming more socially left wing as time went on and that the ROC needed to ditch the Russian Federation style of democracy with a long serving president and more of a traditional constitutional Republic with term limits, In one speech saying "Chang Huang is a great man and was at one time a great leader for China, but simply put he needs to just go, no man good or bad should be allowed to rule for this long".
Yu lee also felt that not enough was done to restore traditional Han Chinese culture in schools as well as legal protections to help enshrine the safety of the Chinese culture for years to come.
Before the civil war Yu lee formed the Chinese National Republican party and while support for his movement was small with only 30 thousand members and no seats in power, he did however find a lot of support in Jiangxi, his home province and due to the recent unrest in China Yu Lee and several members in his movement had an idea, due to several connections with current serving military commanders and due to many members of the CNRP being part of the military it was decided that incase of mass unrest and the ROC unable to protect his region that he and the CNRP party would swoop in and establish the Chinese National Republic in Jiangxi, Luckily for him that is exactly what happened.
Due to the Eastasianist coup attempt and literally almost the entire Yuan being killed the CNRP took advantage of the situation and easily took territory for the new National Republic as during this time many believed that the coup was a success and that the Chinese government has been fully destroyed and that this self-declared Chinese National Republic was simply the only hope to not live under a total Totalitarian nightmare, It was also easy as the CNRP in many cases convinced ROC soldiers to switch sides as many of the commanders and local government were on board with Yu Lee's provisional Chinese National Republic and the CNR denouncing foreign imperialists and communists, You could see why the ROC would in a war of survival consider negotiations.
So far the Chinese National Republic and the ROC has agreed to a ceasefire and a united front against all the other factions in the civil war.
