North Pacifica: Going Pacifist

NORTH PACIFICA — Earlier this week, the Independent Republic of Orange Nations announced the departure of their Secretary of State Velyni Vas. Vas, who headed not only the foreign affairs department but also played a key role in the development of IRON by mentoring new membership, setting Admission policies, and assisting in military command.

His leave, due to personal reasons, resulted in him stepping away from the game for 14 days in Vacation Mode and in agreement with Vice, temporary sanctuary in The Fighting Pacifists. Several representatives of alliances have reached out to Vas about his future with answers of “uncertain," being given out as the direction of the entire nation is in limbo.

Today, President Vas stepped outside The Star into the Masonic Square and addressed hundreds of reporters, surrounded by his always present armed forces. “Today, I am proud to announce that North Pacifica will be joining the ranks of The Fighting Pacifists," Vas said. It marks a move where foundation has been present over the months leading up to this. “TFP, who has been very good to me since my arrival in Orbis, is the perfect place to continue my personal career and see the growth of this great nation continue. I look forward to strengthening in numbers and providing endless support to the fellow nations of this great alliance and continuing our journey to be the standard.”

The Fighting Pacifists, who boasts an impressive 155 nations and another 136 nations in their training entity “The Armed Peacekeepers" has recently added another 40+ members to their alliance from FCR. With the addition of Vas to their foreign affairs ranks, they add even more value to their leadership throughout TFP/TAP.

According to sources within The Star, the deal is set to be finalized by the end of the night. We will report any further information regarding this unexpected announcement as details emerge.
