As Imperialists occupy Japan, a once prosperous nation with a bustling economy, the nation has fallen into a state of economic depression with artillery and military transport replacing civilian vehicles in the nation's many cities.

One such example is Tokyo, once a model megacity, has witnessed it's GDP decline by 19.28% following Imperial occupation, with the worst yet to come as the economy suffers from the lack of support offered by the country's occupation authorities and the withdrawal of free market policies.

The government in exile has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Imperialist forces from the nation's capital and to allow the legitimate, democratically-elected government of Japan to return to it's homeland and continue it's duties.

The nation of Japan faces an uncertain future as tensions escalate with a war looming on the horizon.
