This October, of the year 2022, is a dark day to remind the world of the continued dangerous events. In the late of October of 1922, Benito !@#$, at the helm of his Blackshirt army of some 30,000, marched from Naples to the capital city of Rome with one goal and one goal only: Make !@#$, who had gone to Milan rather than lead his men into the city, the leader of Italy.

The Communist and Socialist Parties made no effort to stop this, relying on Victor Emmanuel, the King, to stop the Fascists, only for him to do absolutely nothing and let !@#$ become Prime Minister and leave just about all executive powers with the madman, who was to become "Il Duce", and take his part in the 65 million deaths that would begin 17 years from then. Had they rallied the anti-fascist Proletariat to stop !@#$, his power grab would have been nothing more than a footnote in history, and perhaps it could have been the same for Germany.

There would have been no WW2. Not in the form we remember it anyways.

How did !@#$ do it? First off, he had the support of the business wing of Italy, the money makers, which he could use to fund and give credit to the fascist movement. Such can be seen in most cases today, where businessmen support the right because of its popularity and power (Talking to you Elon Musk, new CEO of the heck-hole Twitter. You know what happens if you unban the Trump-et. It's gonna start blasting.)

Second, he had the power of the right wing in general, nationalists and fascists alike. Many of these were middle to low class people, who had been failed by the Stalinist parties and left with !@#$ as the last potential option for change.

Third, he had the military, the key to the seizure of power. This military was going to be deployed against him when the then Prime Minister Luigi Facta, requested to declare a State of Siege in Rome.

Then, however, came !@#$'s fourth and probably most important advantage: the incompetence and incapability of the only opposition he could have faced. King Emmanuel refused to sign the order to see troops deployed to stop !@#$'s coup. The Leftist parties refused to unite a popular opposition army to face the Blackshirts. They simply let them in out of fear.

The King and other parties held hope that !@#$, an apparent supporter of Capitalism, could be manipulated, only for this to be crushed in the wake of The Great Depression, when the new Prime Minister !@#$ began to centralize the economy to prevent a collapse of the bank system.

!@#$ continued to consolidate his political power in Rome, forming his cabinet, and demanding presidency of the Council of Ministers. Once again fearing the prospect of fighting back, the Bourgeoisie once again handed power over him, thus beginning his reign as the dictator of Italy.

So here we now are a century later. Giorgia Meloni proclaimed herself anti-fascist before the European Union, but how much credit is there to that exactly, especially when all the Italian fascists certainly believe in her as one?

In Germany, the Alternative fur Deutschland (Alternative for Germany) has taken the torch from the !@#$ and carries it forward with the entire Bundeswehr in an effort to revive the spirit of German Imperialism, with the perfect outlet for that lying east in Ukraine, fighting the corrupted descendant of the very country that stood against all odds against Germany.

And of course, in America, the Congress prepares for a turn to fascism as the GOP has its chance to basically turn Biden into a lame duck only halfway through his term. Trump, who is somehow still not in prison as a traitor, continues his ideas of racial purity and the claims of election fraud and Biden "opening up the border" to migrants in an attempt to replace the White Christian (Hence the name, The Great Replacement Theory). However, the GOP has seen the rise of a new face in recent months that could challenge even the Blonde Orangutan: Ron DeSantis, the governor of the State of Florida.

DeSantis maintains similar policies and beliefs to Trump but has kept a more cool-headed approach and stayed (so far) within the bounds of the law in terms of gaining power. However, his allegiance to the league of American Fascism forming in his party is still very much evident: passing laws to restrict voting (police have arrested individuals, notably of minorities, just for registering to vote), attack democratic rights such as abortion and gender equality, and of course the migrant flight scandal, where he deported a group of immigrants to Massachusetts without their notice, and leaving them with nothing.

DeSantis is currently gaining popularity at an alarming rate and could possibly face Trump in 2024's race for the White House, if the world is still in one piece by the time that happens. And the Democratic Party is in no way planning to stop this; their enfranchisement of the "Republicans" and incompetence is the main reason the GOP is making the comeback it is.

So, we shall speak as we always have: There is only one force capable of rallying the power necessary, not to cower in fear of fascist militancy, but to stand up and combat it before it can gain too much ground. That force is the Working Class. Armed with knowledge of their enemy and their own program, they need not fear the result of a hundred strikes, a hundred riots, a hundred battles. Fascism has a way of hiding itself using its own enemies, democracy and communism alike. The key is to not look at the platform, but to look at the action, and judge on that instead. If one does that, only then do they see just how undemocratic the Democrats are, how unrepublican the Republicans and Tories are, how un-socialist the DSA and Labour are, as is just about any political party in the world.

The future of the world lies in Egalitarianism, and Socialism on a global, revolutionary scale, taking every aspect of society and changing it to meet the needs of humanity as a species rather than as a hierarchy of dictators, war-mongorers, and billionaires.

And so, on this day, the centennial of The March on Rome, remember what must be done for our future:

And someday, perhaps,

There will be a 2nd, proper March on Rome.

A March on London,

on Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam,

on Moscow, Tokyo, Beijing, Seoul

Madrid, Kiev, Warsaw, Berlin, Ottawa Stockholm, Brasilia,

New York, San Francisco, Houston, Chicago,

Washington D.C.,

On the World.

Interesting Censorship policies, but I won't bother editing it. You can fill in the blanks.

Another event that if it hadn’t happened or had happened differently would have prevented ww1and 2 was when the archduke of Austria-Hungary was shot

Also, stop hating on my bois in the GOP 😠

As a very strongly liberal person, I think that not ALL of the Republican Party is bad, but a lot of conservative policies in general are absolutely against my personal beliefs (Luna's policies are practically the same as my political beliefs). So I'm not going to say I hate the party as a whole, because there are definitely good people who have differing opinions from me on some things, but there are absolutely and most certainly members of the party whose beliefs, in my mind, are appalling -- like those who deny climate change, don't believe in LGBTQ+ rights, etc.

Communism and Fascism are two sides of the same evil authoritarian coin.

And what about the massive issues with capitalism? Ever since the beginnings of widespread capitalism, in the Industrial Revolution, it's had huge consequences in multiple areas -- bad working conditions and low wages then, but then also environmental damage and the other negative impacts it has in the modern day.

In my opinion, communism, if achieved in its intended manner, is theoretically a good idea. The issue is not with the ideology -- the issue is how communism in the past has been used along with dictatorships as opposed to democratic systems.

It's almost like communism historically has been completely state centralized and as a result people in government control the entire nation... never would've seen that coming.

Too much power in anyone's hand leads to bad things, it doesn't matter what system it is.

I guess we've never really seen a worker run communist state but honestly we don't need to look much farther then many Western countries to realize that while Capitalism can be improved, it works pretty well. (Talking like Scandinavia and stuff)

I'd say that neither communism nor capitalism is a perfect system -- especially considering the way both of them have worked in history -- which is why I believe in more of a system of social democracy, because I feel like it'd be more effective than either communism or capitalism.

Even in the shadows, people still listen.

Not bad...I suppose...

Hey. I'm a liberal, ok. Although conservatives' ideas I don't necessarily agree with, they're still people
