Things have changed since you've been gone.

I mean, both in the nation and in the revolution itself. In Luna, everything's on fire. I mean, like, everything's falling to pieces. I've never seen it this bad before. I mean, there are people rioting in the streets, burning stuff down -- I guess what I mean to say is that this place is an utter mess right now.

I wish we could just change something, you know? But the revolution -- it's not making it better out here.

I know what you'd say: we can change something. The revolution is trying to do just that.

But I ask, what's the price? What are we losing from this? Because we can't just get off without anything to pay.

And I know what it is. The price is the blood shed, the hundreds of thousands of lives we've lost on both sides. When will they start seeing that it's not worth it? That this rebellion is going to be another cycle of violence? Death begets death, truly, and I cannot see anywhere in our future that things are going to get better if we keep going like this.

Society, I know for a fact, is broken, and it needs repairs, but not like this.

We can't burn down the world and say that a field of ashes is any better than the chains we were living under before.

Tell me, what are we supposed to do now?

I don't have time to write much, but as I said, everything's on fire. It's not going great out here.

▇▇▇▇ is dead. He was caught by them. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, I'm the leader of the revolution now. And, guess what?

As I thought, I'm on my own. Everyone else seems to think I'm not fit to lead, and I can't blame them. I'm terrified.

But I have to protect my sister. I may be only sixteen years old, but Aurelia's just a child. She's only twelve. I can't let them take her too. Not on top of everything else that's happening.

I'd rather watch the world burn than see her have to fight in this war.

I'm scared, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. I'm not going to lie. I'm terrified. What if it fails? What if it all falls apart again?
