The elections finished early, and surprisingly there were no issues in constituencies. When there were issues, they were re-elected on 15th October itself.

Amidst tensions, people did not really like the agendas of the left. The left heavily focused on decreasing military spending, and was stuck in an old past that cadre-based army would solve military coups. Military, presently does not even dare to talk about the government in its press conferences. The Military has been long humiliated and mocked for what it did, and now the military does not dare to repeat that. The left, also mocked the current governance, which heavily brought them criticism, after all the provisional government had ended all the bureaucratic dominance that was being pulled over. The left was also blamed for all the things that happened, although they did not have a part in it. The left was mocked by the right as a pro-bureaucratic front and a nation that wants to make the nation weak, which made them heavily lose votes. The Communist party also got numerous mergers, where the Syndicalists and the Radical Humanists merged into them, with promise that they would get to have autonomy in the party.

The congress? The congress messed up when they showed their support for peace and friendship with other nations. The current mood of the nation, is kind of nationalist, and the congress really did not suit the current political climate. They although supported militarization, which was well liked by many, leading people to choose them over the left at many places. The congress though was a bigger joke for its mergers. Although the Syndicalist, Radical Humanist and Communist merger was kind of acceptable, understanding their ideological similarities, the Bengal congress and the Burma congress was a bigger joke, realising how both these parties had provoked each other's communities, the Burma congress provoking Bengalis and Rohingyas and the Bengal congress mocking the Burmese living in Bengal. After the joke's trend ended though, people accepted it as a fact, because both the parties really had improved after the whole government beef up, and both the parties did make an united front to help us, the provisional government. They have formed a new party, known as the East India National Congress (EINC).

All through this, the Right did manage to get popular. Their militarization and nationalistic manifesto made them popular among the people. The Karen front merged with conservatives, and the right front's conservative party nominated Kazeya Takeyuchi for elections. She had joined the party, mainly for the fact that she had Japanese ancestry, a traditional support base for the conservatives and she had been in the college wing of conservatives. She though initially didn't want to contest elections, but when conservatives wished to gave her nomination, people overwhelmingly supported her, so she had to stand for elections.
