Luna sends troops to assist in the Caribbean

Nova Mundus, we warned you repeatedly that attacks on our allies would mean war.

And yet, you still continued your aggression towards Novaya Rimskaya Imperiya, a nation that acted completely within its rights as a sovereign state to expand its territory. They maintained peace and diplomacy in their expansion, unlike some nations who have violently conquered their surrounding lands.

Rimskaya and Luna have been allies since the last war; we have faced hardships and supported each other through times of conflict. We would consider them our closest and most loyal allies, and we appreciate all that they have done for us.

At first, we were reluctant to attack Nova Mundus, citing the former alliance between our nations as our reasoning for maintaining peaceful relations. 

Then came the global war and alliances shifted. We lost our president, a valiant leader who risked everything to bring freedom to the nation; we were hit with biological weapons and hundreds of thousands of innocent lives were lost. We called for peace after being the ones to declare war, but now?

Here we are again, on the verge of war, standing here and trying to see what to do as the world descends into chaos.

As we've said before, we do not want war, for the sake of all nations involved; however, as of right now, we are sending our troops into the South Caribbean Socialist Federation to help Rimskaya's military reclaim the area and to combat any Nova Mundusian group attempting any sort of attack on our ally.

Additionally, in regards to the Cascadia situation, our stance has been rather unclear lately; we first announced our support for Cascadia before declaring neutrality in the war.

The Canadian Federation, as stated in their bulletin, has been a loyal ally of Luna's since the formation of the N.A.D.P., and they, too, have assisted us through difficult times. We do not want to sever the longtime positive relations between us. However, we are in a bit of a dilemma: who do we support in this conflict when we have highly negative relations with the Rocky Mountain Republic and positive relations with The Canadian Federation?

Our official statement on this situation is that we support Cascadia against the Rocky Mountain Republic due to R.M.R.'s immense hostility towards our nation, but we denounce their actions against Canadian civilians and will not be supporting them in this conflict.

We have chosen that we will avoid entering the conflict between Cascadia and The Canadian Federation for the time being, partially to focus on assisting our allies in the Caribbean and also due to our conflicting alliances and hostilities between the two sides of the war. This neutrality will be maintained unless our nation (or our allies) are attacked, in which case we will be forced to step in.
