North Pacifica has launched an attempt at reducing chicken assaults
DISTRICT V, NORTH PACIFICA ----- In an unexpected announcement today, Pacifican Financial released that chicken prices are on the rise following a shortage throughout the country due to high demand. Recently, the market fluctuations have impacted several areas of the country, and now are being felt by inhabitants high and low.
In a response to the shortage, the Pacifican Armed Forces have decided to increase spending within their military to provide farms across the region with armored suits to dress their chickens in for protection. This is an out of the box attempt to reduce poachers to hopefully relieve some of the stress being felt.
Citizens were recently polled over the changes and they're irate. Comments range from “This is where my tax payer money is going?" to “Why are our chickens more protected than our Police Department?”
We will continue to monitor on whether this actually assists in relief.
