Rimskaya: Operation "Nova Anadyr"

In an effort to assert our dominance over the political sphere, Democraticus has officially hit the ceiling with a new plan that seems to have beaten back his depression spell.

Long story short, Rimskaya will begin what most would call colonization of the Caribbean and then Latin America. The main difference is that should there be natives, we won't subjugate or harm their populations, and we will give them permanent levels of devolutionary sovereignty, while continuing to use resources there for benefit of the colony and the Motherland as a whole.

The first of these "colonies" will be established in Cuba in the coming days, since the Bahamas are effectively under our influence and control already, followed by the rest of the Greater Antilles, then the Lesser Antilles. We are expecting our first colony in South America by the end of 2080.

The reaction to this plan was met with general approval of the population as an effort to expand the Revolution further, the main opposition coming from the hardliners of the R.R.C. calling it an act of "Stalinist Imperialism". For now, they aren't making much impact, despite the rising popularity of the party-like organization as a whole.
