Return to the Surface, and a New Beginning

After some hesitation by the people and government, Democraticus announced it is now officially safe to return to the surface world. Despite the bounties still sitting over us, the people have gained enough confidence and faith in our allies, as well the conclusion of the degeneracy of the diplomatic situation, Rimskaya has emerged from the bowels of UnRoma into the sunlight again. All cities raised their central-pole National Flag as a symbol of "victory" and that the country has once again, been reborn.

We will maintain our biological changes, as they do not negatively impact us or our health, and we've gotten used to them, though we may consider going back to the old flag again. That's a decision to be made later. The first thing to do is finish our newest city, and then start mining iron to heck so we can actually make a tad bit more welfare money for the people and for national development. Militarily we're content with what we have, but will continue growth whenever possible, except the Intelligence department, which has suspended new recruits until a classified date.

Aequitas continues to come along, though the people are starting to get somewhat impatient about the whole alliance thing, as they expected it back in 2078-ish. RoManic has admitted things are coming along slowly in the complex system of Orbis, but says the timeline is looking at 2-3 Non-Orbis Weeks.

In other news, a new rumor has been circling around the capital city that Democraticus has been feeling more down than usual, despite being able to protect his country, his people, and his reputation. Currently we are unsure of what is causing this spell of sadness over our leader, however his personal counselors are working to help him out.
