Foreign Debts Nearly Repayed

Our debt to the combatants of the Rimskaya Tri-Fold War now sits at 12 million remaining. Anyone with extra money is still welcome to send it.

In the meantime, the state has been recovering quite easily from the conflict. The military still stands guard of the country, and cities are slowly but surely recovering from the shock and destruction of the war. Democraticus, still out of his position, is currently touring Novogo Rima to spend time with the civilians most impacted by the war, especially in areas hit by enemy missiles.

Aequitas in the meantime is still chugging along. The Discord server is receiving some new policing as there was reportedly a "controversial argument" on there. Other than that, it remains fully open to the members, who are highly encouraged to join (but not mandated to; I'm still not in it myself) and anyone else who wants to join the Project.

The current serving government, The Rimskaya Revolutionary Council (R.R.C.), however, has also been concerning some of the public and high officials. They have partially disregarded the promise to halt all reconstruction and remilitarization until the debt was repaid, on the grounds of "national defense and priorities of the people" and continued anyways. Resources are extremely short in supply, but they have yet to purchase any other than food, knowing failure to pay the debts means war again. So far they have not taken any action regarding Aequitas, however, with their term only limited to the country's total repair, which may not be too far away, some believe they will advance their agenda while they have the opportunity, though total seizure of power is highly unlikely, as nobody is keen on a civil war right now.
