Comrades, we have strayed too far. Rimskaya's base of Communist and Socialist Internationalism, is one to be proud of, nay ashamed. Our enemies have seen that, while not cowards at war, we have the dignity, and virtue, to give in to peace under respectful terms. We pledge reparations to the aggressors, and intend to give just that to their demands. Peace is more important right now than military victory.
You're all probably wondering why we decided this was better than the valour of "never surrender" that we previously asserted. Well, as much as we disapprove of it's flawed design and anti-Rimskayan nature, "Project Aequitas" is moving forward at a suddenly faster rate, and Rimskaya in a state of war, has no way of effectively handling that. Therefore, we have reluctantly decided, that maintaining the future of the movement by Democraticus, with a noble cause overall, shall prevail for the time being.
Final peace negotiations are in progress. The Rimskaya Tri-Fold War will go down in part as Rimskayan resolve against impossible odds, and part as a testament to our diplomatic action, reasoning to our allies as well as our enemies, and heart to a movement far greater in importance than militant victory.
Friends, let the end of this conflict come. We will pay off our debts to our opponents and then rebuild ourselves, and when the time is right, we will transfer power back to your Commissar, and recede into our place. And to you, our enemies, let blood never be spilled between our people again, and consider yourselves part of Rimskaya's search for the Holy Grail of Mediation and International Unity.
The rebuilding of the state will take time, yes, but with the work of you, the Rimskayan People, it will pale in comparison to previous work. In time, we will become remembered as one of the greatest states to grace this land known as Orbis. In time, we will become one of the top of the world's remembered philosophers, leaders, and figures. Rimskaya forever stands for the masses of poor and struggling, but in the end, is for every nation except those who are only for themselves.
