17 years ago, a mole named Francus Prolobsterski created a restaurant in the fine city of Nera. As the city grew, so did the restaurant, and it was soon known as the most exquisite restaurant in all of Ganymede! Everyone loved it, and the place was packed every day, no matter how bad the weather was. As mandated by law, the toasted root vegetable was the most popular thing on the menu.
One day, Francus had a new idea. He decided to experiment with a new dish: Untoasted root vegetables! The government initially let it slide, just to see the popularity. They told Francus that they would give him 2 weeks to test it.
About a week into the trial, the trend had caught on. They thought that this would be a great help to Ganymede’s economy. However, it took a turn quickly. Instead of promoting untoasted root vegetables as a second dish, people started riots about making untoasted root vegetables as the mandated dish!
To prevent further consequences, the government asked Francus to take untoasted root vegetables off of the menu. Francus, deciding that it would take a huge hit to his restaurant, decided not to listen.
As a last resort, the government forced Francus to shut down his restaurant and gave him a 10 year sentence in prison.
Ganymede finally thought they had it under control. Soon though, they had people doing one of the worst crimes anyone could commit: they attacked and wrecked several toaster factories!
The public could stand it no more, and people divided themselves into two main parties, the Toasted party, which supported toasted root vegetables, and the Untoasted party, which supported untoasted root vegetables.
One week later, the Untoasted signed an official declaration of war with the Toasted.
Knowing this would result in disaster for Ganymede, a small group of wise Toasted members decided to call upon the only way to stop this conflict: DIVINE INTERVENTION!
