An announcement recently came out regarding a new pseudo-alliance called the Socialist Alliance International, which apparently wants Rimskaya to lead it, despite some other questionable members (Nova Mundus we're looking at you). Rimskaya as it turned out however, had never heard of this before.

While the initial reaction was one in favor, Rimskaya's government once again soon found itself divided. "The Rimskaya Revolutionaries Council (R.R.C.)" , a political group that might forge into Rimskaya's first formal Political Party (See origin here: State Government Divided Over Aequitas | Politics and War), called the S.A.I. " A chance for Rimskaya to return to the cause of humanity and Socialist Internationalism." However, the rest of the government believes that this will contradict the new foundations for "Project Aequtias", which has been experiencing a multitude of delays for unknown reasons.

During the debate, the Government had its first taste of political violence, with one of the R.R.C. members beating a staunch supporter of Aequitas with his cane. While the new-found supporter base of the group across the country are sending truckloads of new canes to replace the council member's bloodied old one, the rest of the government is preparing for a potential solid divide to occur. Right now the R.R.C. holds a minority, but the gap is closing fast as Rimskayans chose between:

Anti-War Socialism vs. Proletariat Warfare against the Chaos Insurgency, and

"Project Aequitas" vs. Socialist Internationalism.

Currently the R.R.C. is in favor of Socialist Internationalism, but has yet to take a stance on the potential war with the Insurgency.

Well, you had what was basically a coup, your government's stance and position is confusing as it appears to keep switching sides and/or supporting both, your ideology isn't clear, and in general, you're kinda sitting in the fog. It would be helpful if your clarified what side you are on, if one at all, or just declare neutrality.

Hey if you're centrist we don't have a problem with that. A happy median.

Transmission from the Socialist Party of Dauchh Palki

We see no reason why project Aequitas couldn't co-exist with S.A.I unless on the issues of funding/government attention.

S.A.I can help expand Project Aequitas if voted on.

Aequitas, with help from advisors to make it more feasible and workable, has taken on an increasingly capitalist format. Therefore members of the government think it's a start for Rimskaya degenerating into a Soviet-like Bureaucracy, doomed to meet the same ending as the USSR.
