Today marks the last day of the J8 conference and yet another day of violence.

The day started with the Procession organized by the Florentium Social Forum comprising all the peaceful protesters from all the collectives that took part in the protests the previous days, they were also joined by many other people, including families with children, who joined in protest of the police brutality that unfolded yesterday.

Unfortunately things turned sour in the afternoon when the Black Blocs tried to infiltrate the procession but were repelled by the protesters themselves, leading to the Black Blocs going ahead of the procession and starting to provoke the police.

After little provoking the police started charging, in turn the protesters moved out of the way to allow the police to capture the Black Blocs but the police was of different opinion. While the Black Blocs were running away the police charged the protesters, repeating the events that unfolded yesterday by beating up protesters, children, mothers, journalists and everyone that came in their path, except the Black Blocs, none of whom was arrested.

Many were wounded and arrested, during many hours of violence by the police. Eventually the protesters dispersed and went back to their homes, while the foreigners who arrived to protest went to the legally occupied schools for the night, particularly the Da Vincis School holding about 94 protesters. While the leaders that took part in the meeting were flying back to their nations the police was under fire by the press for causing such suffering while simultaneously not arresting a single member Black Blocs. The news, which reached international media, also brought the discussion to the Parlamentum, where many right wing party members defended the actions of the police while the others criticized the police for excessive violence, some even criticizing the police of being secretly in an agreement with the Black Blocs to cause chaos and somehow justify this level of violence. Marius Draghii himself stated deep concern towards the events that unfolded and called for an investigation.

Seeing this the Police chief decided they'd need to save face and try to arrest some Black Blocs, so they decided to storm the Da Vincis Scholae: claiming to have witnessed "masked men with motorcycle helmets throwing bottles and paper balls" 150 agents showed up and encircled the school around midnight, and promptly stormed it, meeting little to no resistance from the foreign protesters, most of whom were sleeping. Then the police proceeded to commit more acts of violence and beatings, injuring 90 of the 94 occupants and arresting them all, claiming to have found molotovs in the building. However, none of the protesters were part of the Black Blocs and some footage shows police officers carrying the found molotovs inside the building, probably to plant them as evidence. The police also stormed a nearby radio station used by the Florentium Social Forum to spread its message, some OUF parliamentarians were present and reported that the police forced everyone to get on the ground and then started launching tear gas. There are also reports that the Police blocked ambulances from reaching the two locations until much after they "cleared" the building.

The previous bulletin was flagged for "inappropriate images from real life events" forcing me to censor this one's images containing fake blood (cover image is from a movie about the events that happened at the Diaz School in Genoa 2001) and forcing me not to use some images. I believe these rules to be wrong as these events are important to be talked about without sugarcoating and censorship and believe it would be more appropriate to give us the tools to mark these bulletins as "containing graphic images" or something so that people who may be disturbed by it can hide them without resorting to censorship but alas I doubt that will happen and have decided to censor what I could, but I also decided to remove any warning as I believe that will only get the bulletin flagged and due to the censorship that I applied. I believe it is also hypocritical to be able to show buildings being bombed and destroyed but not to be able to show the consequences of police brutality even when the images provided weren't gore and were not any more disturbing than buildings being bombed. We should be allowed to delve into topics like these and I believe a PG-18 rating would have been better for this game.

I once again encourage everyone to research what happened in those days of July 2001 in Genoa as it is an important part of modern history that is not talked about enough and is often overshadowed by other events that happened that year.
