Country and State are synonymous terms that both apply to self-governing political entities. Now let's take a look at what defines a nation and what makes it different.
While a Nation is a large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, goal, or language, inhabiting a particular area or territory. A nation is a historically evolved, stable community of language, territory, economic life, and psychological makeup manifested in a community of culture (J. V. Stalin, 1913). Ernest Renan defines a nation as an entity based on acts of the free will of individuals forming a collective identity. In the end, many scholars agreed that nations are socially constructed and historically contingent.
From all of the points above, we can see that a nation needs people, residents, and a community. Without all of it, there will not be a nation and it will be impossible to exist.
