On May Sixth, at 7:06pm, Justice Ivory was shot by escaped convict, George Rebon. The police found Ivory half dead in an alley just a quarter mile from his home. Justice Ivory survived the attempt on his life, saying later that this is not the most serious bullet wound he had received. The police found Rebon at an illegal speakeasy (distributer of alcohol and drugs), where they found he was drunk and high. Rebon fired three times, killing two officers. George Rebon was shot dead, while four others died in the shootout. The police made a major arrest of fifty-seven people, fourteen of the group were illegal immigrants.

Doctors say that Ivory will fully recover. Memorial services will be held nationwide to honor the two officers killed in the line of duty.
