Limberwisk islands and Cobalt City cleared as Workers' Day celebrations begin!

Today reports from the camp in LImberwisk arrived stating that every person found in the islands of Fuw and Lef was successfully evacuated. The islands are now deemed uninhabited and rescue and search teams have officially stopped conducting operations there. A pile of non-perishable foods, flares and other methods of sending a message to Europea Nutella were left behind on the island in case anyone still happens to be there and wasn't found already. This is deemed fairly unlikely as the two islands appear compltely deserted and abandoned, with everyone who once lived on it either already evacuated or dead. The landscape is so far one of abandoned buildings and overwhelming gray, however as the ash subsides it will provide nutrients for theation and teh island could become teaming back with life. However for now patrol boats are circling the islands to prevent anyone from entering it as not only it is dangerous to be on the island but also to protect the local environment from human interference and allow nature to recover.

Similiarly Cobalt City and surrouding areas have been cleared. Everything said for the islands can be applied to Cobalt CIty save for a perimeter to prevent people from entering yet to be established, said perimeter will likely be around the entirety of the former Limberwisk nation however. Cobalt City itself is completely deserted, with some wild animals being spotted walking among the rubble in search of food. No children playing in the playground, no teachers teaching in schools, no young people socialising at the cafés, no workers working and no farmers in the fields, that is what Limberwisk looks like now.

Right now 25'000 refugees remain in the camp, with the rest of them either already in European Nutella, in quarantine or being transported. In total European Nutella has rescued about 120'000 refugees from Limberwisk. The population has welcomed the refugees with open arms, albeit some complaints have been put forward by NNTP and some members of the NCP, complaints however that do not resonate withmost EuroNutellans and that ave been largely ignored or critiqued. In Clancianum and many other cities refugees have organised cleaning parties to clean the cities as a form of gratitude towards our nation. Furthermore the integration is going well: Nutellan language lessons are reporting full attendance, kids are being welcomed in our schools, workers are joining our unions and a new sense of belonging and brotherhood with European Nutella is developing among the refugees. Perhaps one day most of them will start the procedure to become full citizens.

Aside from the conclusion of the Limberwisk crisis, today many people have took to the streets of all cities in European Nutella to celebrate workers rights and Workers Day. Particularly worthy of note were the presence, in the various manifestations of Nutella City, of the President himself as well as the leaders of many unions, workers' rights advocacy groups and the leaders of ENAP, FSD and VFNE.
