This ANZAC coal is high quality anthracite for use in thermal power and steel production overseas and is also low sulphur providing environmental benefits for those nations that purchase ANZAC coal for their domestic use.

The creation of the National Project Resource Production Centre led to a slow trickle of coal production which was supplemented with creation of several mines powered by wind energy.

Previously as part of a 'clean economy' there had been a moratorium on the creation of coal mines and coal exports.

In an ideal world all nations would use renewable energy and create 'green' steel. But the King Surfer recognises that 'clean coal' has a role to play in the world economy. The addition and diversification of coal exports to the nations current reliance on bauxite, lead, aluminium and munitions strengthens the nations economic position. ANZAC was an energy importer, relying on gasoline imports and uranium imports for its nuclear power stations, exporting coal will help with the balance of payments for energy costs.

King Surfer said "The world has a huge demand for energy, it would be morally wrong to keep our clean coal in the ground"
