Bomb found near Munster

A Bomb from the last Global war was found near the city of Munster and Experts are currently working on mitigation.

COLOGNE. The Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs declared a Emergency law in the Region around the city of Munster on the evening of August 30, 2074 after the Announcement of a Bomb. In the Afternoon, Explosives-Experts from the Statswehr (Statearmy) found a remnant of the last Global war. The new Type of Bomb was dropped on Republic of Rockburg territory only 3 times during the war. Two of them each exploded in Hamburg and near Hanover causing immense Damage that not only affected Houses and Infrastructure, but also many Civilians.

To avoid panic, the Bomb found was kept secret for the time being. Evacuation measures were only initiated in the evening. In the Graphic below you can see the Effect of the Evacuation. Everyone within the Red Zone had to leave the Area immediately by Afternoon. This affected about 20,000 people. In the early evening, when the Situation was not yet clear, the Evacuation Zone was extended for the time being. Everyone in the Orange Zone must leave the Area as soon as possible. The Deadline is 8 p.m., August 31, 2074. Another 2,000 people will be affected.

In the evening, the Experts' Situation was critically assessed. Defense Minister Paul-Ulrich Apfel, together with Interior Minister Sandra Schlagbaum, declared a state of Emergency in the Region. Officially it says: 

"It is our task and that of the entire federal government to ensure the safety of the people on site [...] our best demolition experts are on site to eliminate the danger. Due to an unclear and rather critical situation [. ..] decided to expand the evacuation zone We have already seen [in] the war the scale of this type of bomb."
