An Announcement from the Desk of the President of the United Imperium

Good evening, my fellow Americans. Approximately thirty minutes ago, members of Barracuda Squadron and La Puntan Special Forces returned from Dreamistan with a highly prized possession: the dead body of the terrorist and dictator, George Ivanov. It is with great pleasure that I announce to the United Imperium, La Punta de Antartica, and to the world, that we have apprehended and killed George Ivanov. No longer will the scourge of tyranny plague the brave nations that stand as shining beacons of liberty and democracy. Horrific terror attacks and genocides that Ivanov perpetrated will never be perpetrated again.

I now want to shed light upon how we were able to kill Ivanov less than two months after the order was given for the man's death. After all, in the pre-Balkan days, it took 10 years to kill Osama bin Laden, and 13 years to apprehend Saddam Hussein. But we were able to locate and kill George Ivanov inside of two months of the order for his death. For this incredible feat, I would like to thank General Eisenhower and the rest of the NIEA for their tireless efforts in tracking and locating Ivanov. The tireless perseverance of the men and women dedicated to the task never wavered, and your bravery and resilience will not be forgotten.

In carrying out this operation, Barracuda Squadron has once again put on a display of incredible courage and proficiency. They knew that the mission they undertook was dangerous, and that to succeed, it would be essential for these brave men to display the highest level of skill and precision possible so that they could apprehend and kill George Ivanov. Barracuda Squadron did not waver in the face of death, and they looked it straight in the eyes as they carried out this operation, which resulted in zero civilian casualties and zero American casualties.

I cannot forget to thank La Punta. La Punta de Antarctica has suffered through not just one, but two genocides that were carried out by Ivanov, and more than any other nation in Orbis, La Punta wanted George Ivanov dead. We would have never been able to successfully locate and take down Ivanov if it were not for the aid of La Punta, and the tireless efforts of the men and women of La Punta in obtaining the intelligence that would ultimately allow us to find and kill the terrorist that haunted every Puntan.

Finally, I want to thank you, the American people. In the face of the Global War and in the midst of economic recession, you have stood firm. You have continued to support the fight against tyranny and terror even amidst some of the greatest challenges we as a nation have faced. Your unwavering loyalty to liberty and freedom are what define us as a nation, and today, as we celebrate the death of a tyrant, that unwavering loyalty to these ideals is what defines us and what will continue to define us in the future of our nation.

Finally, to close these remarks, I would once again remind the scourges of tyranny and terror that so long as the people of the United Imperium are a free and virtuous people, you will never be safe. We know that the quest to defeat evil may never truly end, but if you are a bastion of tyranny, know that we will not let you rest easy. No matter the cost, we will bring justice to the villains of Orbis, and we know we will do so because God always favors freedom over tyranny, and democracy over dictatorship. 

Once again, we have apprehended and killed the terrorist and dictator George Ivanov. May God bless the United Imperium and our allies across the globe.
