Hello everyone,

Our apologies for taking so long with this announcement. Technically the project was completed a few days ago, but extraneous circumstances meant that we had to delay the announcement of the opening for a bit. However, we are now ready to present the latest work of Primal's: Summit Academy!

This idea for this ambitious project was born in the early days of Primar's existence, as the mercenary groups that had formed to help Primar fight for and win its independence had been vying for small individual contracts for months. Primal, seeing this infighting, wanted to find a way to channel this fighting spirit into bettering Primar and its allies. The way forward as he saw it was to use these mercs as teachers for a new generation of special operations teams that would work for hire all around Orbis. Of course, he foresaw that the mercs wouldn't be too excited about a "boring" teaching job, so he wanted to find a way to sweeten the deal. The solution was simple: Allow them to fight the students, providing invaluable combat training for the students and ensuring that the teachers stayed in shape. While these were all great plans, Primal did not yet have the resources, knowledge, or connections to see it completed at the time.

When he undertook the Casino Project, he had two objectives: To revitalize the Primar economy, and to learn more about what it took to instate large-scale changes across the nation. He managed to succeed in both of these avenues. Then came Project Rumble. In all honesty, that was chiefly a test run to see if creating a system for battling could work effectively. The success that that project brought encouraged Primal to move forward with his overarching goal of Summit.

Luckily, he had a blueprint for it: He took notes from the already succeeding and very influential Sparrowhawk Academy, which had trained most of the War Council and was the steppingstone for many a soldier's career in the Primar Armada. Their system had a very large focus on combat training, which is what Primal desired as well as the mercs who would be instated as the teacher. However, Sparrowhawk mainly trained on simulators, which Primal found problematic for his purposes. Sure, simulators reduced costs in the long run due to fewer injuries and less time not on the field, Primal believed that they simply couldn't prepare one fully for the stresses of real combat. So, he went to great lengths to ensure that all field trainings would be in highly realistic scenarios. While of course he couldn't have his students or faculty killing each other, he made no qualms about injuries inflicted on others as long as it was something they could theoretically recover from. With this in mind, Primal began creation of his Summit Academy.

Since its opening last Thursday, Summit has been wildly successful, with many of the Commandant's finest soldiers taking on teams from around the world. So far, every team that has participated has agreed that it was a great training and that they would absolutely return if the opportunity allowed. I know that our squads have adored it, and they quite literally fight each other for a chance to fight in the Summit Arena. I hope that this goes a long way in establishing Primar as a global mercenary superpower.

I would also like to take this last section as a place to recognize the great people who have contributed to Summit. First, our Archminister for organizing the squads from the other nations. Our Commandant has been hard at work selecting squadrons to go to the Arena, and we all hope the Armada is better for it. Our Grand Overseer has been dutifully dealing with all the extra bookkeeping, and I want to make sure he realizes how much we appreciate all his hard work in keeping our economy thriving. Of course, our Master Builder and Inspector General have been working tirelessly to find new ways to exploit our current infrastructure and land situations and figure out how to fit all of our new projects into our cities.

As of yet, we are not sure where our next expansions will take us. However, be assured that we will never cease improving ourselves, lest we become obsolete on this global stage we have fought to have a part in.

Until next time,

Mr. Thompson
