History: The Most August Holy Terran Empire was founded on December 20th, 2062 by His Most Imperial Majesty, George Centarius, during a military uprising against the failed Terran Republic which had fallen into decadence and destitution after years of being controlled by incompetent and greedy politicians who allowed the Republic to waste away while they only grew their own wealth and power.

On the night of the 10th of December the coup began, military units loyal to then Supreme Commander George Centarius of the Republican Defense Forces began a series of strikes against communications facilities across the nation plunging it into disarray. Within the first ten hours of the coup nearly all military forces loyal to the Republic had been wiped out ins surprise attacks, often being attacked from within their own ranks as they were caught up in the chaos of the total communications blackout. Any surviving loyalist units retreated to the Republic Senate to form a defense against the Imperial troops that now surrounded them, the resulting siege lasting several hours before the 1st Special Forces and 33rd Armoured Cavalry Regiments, led by George Centarius himself, breached the lines and stormed the Senate.

In just under a day the coup had succeeded, all forces that chose to remain loyal to the now deposed Republic and not join the new Empire were executed alongside the entirety of the Republic Senate, save for a few collaborators. Ten days later, with the nation and military under his full command, George Centarius officially declared himself as Emperor of the new Terran Empire, announcing that no longer would they continue to wallow in destitution, instead they would grow and become strong once more, survival through conquest of all who had wronged them and any who would stand in their way!

With this declaration over the Emperor set about re-building their military might, forging the Republican Defense Force into the new Terran Armed Forces, a larger and stronger military force that would have no equal and would crush all who stood before them on the field of battle.

These events would mark the begging of a new era for the people of the Empire, one in which they would reign supreme over all others.

Industries: The largest and most important industry within the Empire is the Arms Industry, supplying the vast Imperial war machine and often the militaries of it's trade partners. The industry is responsible for producing thousands of munitions, tanks, strike craft and warships on a daily basis, all rigorously inspected by members of the Imperial high Command for any signs of deficiency. Only the best war material is to be used for the TAF, anything less is melted for scrap or shipped to other nations.
Military
History: The Terran Armed Forces (TAF) are the successor organization of the former Republican Defense Force (RDF). Formed after the successful coup on December 10th, 2062 and led by a High Command personally selected by the Emperor, the Terran Armed Forces are one of the most elite fighting forces in the world, put through a grueling training regime and supplied with the latest and most advanced in military hardware they are a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

The Terran Ground Forces are led by General Field Marshal Joann Owosekun, former commander of the 1st Special Forces Regiment, and consist of all ground-based units within the TAF including but not limited to Infantry Regiments, M1A3 Abrams MBTs and Artillery Batteries. They make up the bulk of the TAF and are responsible for maintaining ground control during any conflict whether foreign or domestic.

The Terran Aerial Corps is led by Sky Marshal Hikaru Sulu, formerly one of the most highly accomplished fighter aces and the preeminent squadron leader in the Republic Airforce, Sulu went on to become Sky Marshal of the newly founded Terran Aerial Corps upon the founding of the TAF, promoted to this position by the Emperor. Since then the Sky Marshal has reorganized the Aerial Corps into a force that dominates the skies and rains hell upon it's enemies in support of their ground-bound brothers and sisters. The Aerial Corps maintains an extensive fleet of aircraft ranging from fighters to cargo transports, however it's main combat craft are the F/A-18F 'Super Hornet', the F-35 'Lightning II' and the F-22 Raptor.

The Terran Navy is commanded by Lord Admiral Terrance Hood, an aged and heavily experienced naval commander, Hood was the only member of the Admiralty which had sided with the Emperor during the rebellion against the former Republic. With the task of rebuilding the Navy after the heavy losses suffered by it during the attempted scuttling of the fleet by Republic Fleet Officers in ports across the nation, resulting int he loss of 47% of the fleet, as well as the loss of nearly all senior officers within the Navy. Despite these challenges, Hood has risen to the occasion and is already making significant progress in restoring the Empire's naval might. The main combat vessel of the Terran Navy is the Hobart-class Air Warfare Destroyer.
