Ancient Greek War Roleplay

First six people to post which of the following city states they want to be are in!

You can be

  • Athens
  • Sparta
  • Corinth
  • Megara
  • Mytilene
  • Argos

I will keep a list here of the players and how many soldiers they have left (each city-state gets 10,000 soldiers to use in battles)

If you lose all your soldiers, you are defeated and you are no longer in this roleplay.

I call being Athens!

Players:

Athens - Erik Wolpaw - 8,730 soldiers remaining - Destroy Mode

Sparta - Harrison - 7,156 soldiers remaining - Wall - Fortification mode

Corinth - Dylan Pascua - 10,000 soldiers remaining

Megara - Jaiteaes- 9,520 soldiers remaining - Destroy mode

Mytilene - Stormrideron- 8,755 soldiers remaining - Wall - Fortification mode

Argos - Prezyan - 10,000 soldiers remaining - Wall - Fortification mode

Troy - Dimitri Valko - 8,566 soldiers remaining - Wall - Fortification mode

HOW TO ENGAGE IN WAR WITH ANOTHER CITY-STATE:

Post the following:

[Your city state] attacks [City state you want to attack]

For example:

Athens attacks Sparta.

I will then simulate the results and update this first post.

Please note that you cannot attack another city-state until all city-states are claimed.

Walls:

Walls are great at defending against attacks. You can build a wall by saying so in a post.

Fortification Mode:

If you wish to, you can add significantly to your defense points by going into fortification mode. However, while you're in fortification mode, you will be unable to attack any other city-state.

You can enter and exit fortification mode by saying so in a post. Whilst in Fortification mode, you cannot be in Destroy Mode.

Destroy Mode:

While in destroy mode, you increase your attack points by 75%. However, whilst in Destroy Mode, you cannot build a wall (i.e. the materials used to build the wall are used to help your soldiers increase effectiveness). You also cannot be in Fortification Mode.

Mode Limit:

You can only change your city-state's "mode" once a day.

Defeating another city-state:

By defeating another city-state, you get to take it (so if CS1 defeats CS2, then CS1 now owns CS1 and CS2). You also get 5,000 soldiers added to the city-state you just defeated.

Um, hello people?

No, you can build a wall. You cannot recruit soldiers for the sake of this game eventually ending. You cannot upgrade your wall. You can't upgrade troops for the sake of my mind.

Added walls.

Also, maybe since you were so focused on building walls and upgrading troops that you didn't realize that you could attack yet? Seriously guys. The goal is to attack and wipe out all your opponents' soldiers. Then you win.
