victoria II definately. though it's shorter than EUIII, i like victoria II bc of it's government stuff. i do wish Victoria II showed government leaders like EUIII but whatever.

No EU2 or HoI2?

HoI2 is definitely the best HoI. I liked EU2 because of the mods AGCEEP and Independent Europe.

Select other, I'm not listing every game

Vicky 2 because of the economic system and tech tree. CK2 gets crazy, but leans too much towards diplomacy for my taste. Makes it fun, but harder to form long-term strategies, since a single death can throw the whole realm into a chaos I can't punch away.

the europa universalis games have the best focus, if you ask me. i like the time period of ck2 but i hate the family/dynasty/whatever focus. and i also like the inclusion of socialism, etc. that vicky 2 brings but i don't actually want to sit and micro-manage an economy. i want to conquer shit and have the economy take care of itself, without having to worry about who is having sex with who. it would be nice if eu4 wasn't so focused on colonizing, though, because really it's the most boring part.

CKII... 555 hours sunk in now.

I've played 640  :(

I've played 712.

I voted for ck2. By far the best in my opinion, I like that it is based around individual characters instead of nations. Far more replayability and roleplaying elements. Plus I make mods for ck2 on the workshop, so there is that.

I can't get into EUIV or any of the other PI games tbh. I prefer Civ5 for nation strategy over EUIV.

EU4, could never get into CKII. Got like 400 hours in EU (still get my ass handed to me on occasion, but I can westernise the Aztecs)

I switched my vote from EUIV to CK2. Its just such a fun game to play and with more roleplay and fantasy like content coming I think I am going to like it even more.

EU4 is better, but ck2 is funnier. 10/10 would become the inbred genius Mongolian Norse Pope of Scandinavia again.

The moment you realize you played all of the games listed on the poll, spent thousands of hours on them and can't really decide which one is your favourite.
