In this short guide, I'll be talking about what the different military units are, and about their purpose. I'll dive right in and break down each unit.

Soldiers

Soldiers are the simplest military units. They are citizens trained to defend your country. Training soldiers costs a mere $2 per soldier. To be able to train soldiers, you must have Barracks. Barracks are improvements that you can build in your cities. Barracks need to be in a powered city to be functional. Each Barracks allows you to train up to 3,000 soldiers. You have a recruitment per day restriction of 1/3rd your max soldier capacity, so that means per Barracks you can only train 1,000 soldiers per day.

In war, soldiers are used in Ground Battles. If you have Munitions, your soldiers will use them to fight 75% more effectively. Munitions are not required to use Soldiers.

Tanks

Tanks are accessory ground battle units. They are used jointly with soldiers to fight Ground Battles. Tanks cost $60 and 1 Steel to build. To be able to build tanks, you must have a Factory. Factories are improvements that you can build in your cities. Factories need to be in a powered city to be functional. Each Factory allows you to build up to 250 tanks. You have a recruitment per day restriction of 1/5th your max tank capacity, so that means per Factory you can only build 50 tanks per day.

In war, Tanks are used in Ground Battles. They require both Munitions and Gasoline to operate. A tank has the same combat value as 40 soldiers, but tanks are less prone to destruction than soldiers are to dying.

Aircraft

Aircraft are damage units. They are used in Airstrikes to target enemy infrastructure or forces. Aircraft cost $4,000 and 3 Aluminum to build. To be able to build aircraft, you must have an Air Force Base. Air Force Bases are improvements that you can build in your cities. Air Force Bases need to be in a powered city to be functional. Each Air Force Base allows you to build up to 18 aircraft. You have a recruitment per day restriction of 1/6th your max aircraft capacity, so that means per Air Force Base you can only build 3 aircraft per day.

In war, Aircraft are used in Airstrikes. They require both Munitions and Gasoline to operate. Aircraft will battle enemy aircraft when attempting to do an airstrike. Airstrikes can target enemy Infrastructure, Soldiers, Tanks, Aircraft, or Ships.

Ships

Ships are blockade units. They are used in Naval Battles to cut off access to outside reinforcements. Ships cost $50,000 and 25 steel to build. To be able to build ships, you must have a Drydock. Drydocks are improvements that you can build in your cities. Drydocks need to be in a powered city to be functional. Each Drydock allows you to build up to 5 ships. You have a recruitment restriction of 1/5th your max ship capacity, so that means per Drydock you can only build 1 ship per day.

In war, Ships are used in Naval Battles. They require both Munitions and Gasoline to operate. Ships, if they achieve an Immense Triumph Naval Victory, will blockade their target. A blockade will prevent any trade and bank activity between the target nation and other nations.

Missiles

Missiles are damage units. They are used to destroy vast amounts of infrastructure and a city improvement. Missiles cost $150,000 100 Aluminum, 75 Gasoline, and 75 Munitions. To be able to build Missiles, you must first have built the Missile Launch Pad National Project. You can build up to 1 Missile per day.

In war, Missiles are used in Missile Attacks. They do not cost any resources to use. They destroy large amounts of infrastructure and an improvement in the target city.

Nuclear Weapons

Missiles are massive damage units. They are used to destroy humongous amounts of infrastructure and two city improvements. Nuclear Weapons cost $1,750,000 750 Aluminum, 500 Gasoline, and 250 Uranium. To be able to build Nuclear Weapons, you must first have built the Nuclear Research Facility National Project. You can build up to 1 Nuclear Weapon per day.

In war, Nuclear Weapons are used in Nuclear Attacks. They do not cost any resources to use. They destroy outrageous amounts of infrastructure and two improvements in the target city, as well as creating a lasting pollution effect that slowly decays over the next 10 days. Using a Nuclear Weapon will automatically send the target nation to Beige.
