John Smith
Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies Prep: 15 m Cook: 10 m Ready In: 35 m Recipe By: Jenn They may sound difficult, but I could seriously burn water and created this recipe myself. I tend not to use actual measurements (I like them really chocolaty), but stick close to what I have here. Everyone who has ever tasted them, loves them... And if I can make them, anyone can. Ingredients 1 cup shortening 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup honey 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal 1/2 cup rolled oats 1 cup jumbo semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup milk chocolate chips Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. In a large bowl, cream together the shortening, white sugar, brown sugar and honey until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the oats, cereal, jumbo chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy! I figured I'd helpout Bluebear and Thalmor on their crusade

Sir Scarfalot
Whenever I make cookies, I layer the flour, baking soda, salt, and other dry powdery ingredients into a sifter, then sift them into the mixing bowl. This results in a smoother cookie that's much better mixed than any other method that I have tested.
