They may sound difficult, but I could seriously burn water and created this recipe myself. I tend not to use actual measurements (I like them really chocolaty), but stick close to what I have here. Everyone who has ever tasted them, loves them... And if I can make them, anyone can.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup jumbo semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the shortening, white sugar, brown sugar and honey until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the oats, cereal, jumbo chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Enjoy!

Hmm, what does that have to do with alliance affairs?

Clearly you've never had John's cooking. These cookies can make or break Orbis.

Whenever I make cookies, I layer the flour, baking soda, salt, and other dry powdery ingredients into a sifter, then sift them into the mixing bowl. This results in a smoother cookie that's much better mixed than any other method that I have tested.
