Laurentian Defence Minister Pascal 

The Laurentian Ground Forces in Switzerland completed their missions in eliminating the E.S.A. and other Ethnic Eslovan militias. While the ethics of Laurentian and Frankish Militaris has been questioned, the Laurentian Government is proud of the sacrifices of Laurentian Soldiers. Over three years of conflict, the Laurentian Army has suffered 1,421 losses. Losses for the salvation of the Frankish people and communities of Switzerland. Under Article XV, Clause II, the Laurentian Government has agreed to continue its peacekeeping mission in Switzerland and the full disarmament of Frankish and Eslovan militias while giving control of the governance of the Swiss area to a devolved government at the regional capital of Geneva. 

With great pleasure, I award General Alexander Sazaki, chief of the Laurentian Military Stabilization Forces [MSF] to Switzerland the Medal of Honor for his valiant service to his nation and his people. General Sazaki led personally a rescue mission of a fallen pilot and was caught in a deadly firefight in the alps. When the time had come, he refused to leave and loaded the wounded on his helicopter. For hours, he and the 8th Airborne Battalion fought off Eslovan insurgents. While I wish to bestow upon every member of the 8th Airborne this honorable medal, the few; Sgt. Morceau, Private Elizabeth Conner, Private Charles D. Sumter, Private Severus B. Sazaki, and Specialist Edward Macron are recognized for their valor and contribution to the defense and rescue of over 300 civilians from the small town of Bordeu on the Alps. 

With that, as Napoleon, The French Empire, and our ancestors before. We have formally incorporated the City State of Rome into the Laurentian mainland. This move is apart of a greater expansion in the region as destabilization from multiple failed regimes threatens the mainland and such we have sent a force to stabilize the region.

Under Article XV, Clause II, the Laurentian Government has agreed to continue its peacekeeping mission in Switzerland and the full disarmament of Frankish and Eslovan militias while giving control of the governance of the Swiss area to a devolved government at the regional capital of Geneva. 

General Alexander Sazaki, chief of the Laurentian Military Stabilization Forces [MSF] defeated rogue elements of E.S.A. and other groups in the region.

 

Due to geo-political tensions; Laurentia expanded into Kiel and cities in the east to set up F.O.B.s and secure passage.
