Contingency Alpha

 In the years that followed the disappearance of the Akaata, much of their technology that was left behind had been confiscated. However, for what purpose this tech was confiscated is unknown to all save few, including King Wilhelm and some of the higher ups in both the Prussian Government and APEX Corp. Deep below ground, in one of the old APEX Corp facilities, a massive hollowed-out chamber could be seen. Inside, a massive structure of unknown type could be seen under construction. Clearly, it was neither completely native nor completely foreign, simply based upon it's design. However, it could be seen that in the chamber (as well as adjacent ones) that there was a large stockpile of old Akaatan weapons. With the rising tensions on Orbis, these weapons were quickly taken out of the facility and above ground to be issued to select units in the Prussian Armed Forces. However, the structure in the chamber remained dormant, or at least, it seemed like it was. Overlooking the chamber, an platform could be seen. Inside were several of the main leaders of the Prussian Armed Forces and APEX Corp lead scientists.One of the scientists approached a screen and began working on it, hoping to activate it.
 "Okay... It should be connected to every city in Prussia... Time to activate it..." He would say. "Contingency Alpha activation code 77932-18916-11435." he would say into a microphone. Suddenly, the structure began to activate, a red glow emanating from it's core. "Well, it should be active now... At least it will make law enforcement a bit easier, no?" he would remark.
 "If by easier, you mean turning us into essentially a police state?" One of the military officers said.
 "No, no. It won't make us into a police state... hopefully. It will simply provide all units with a central database so that they can prevent crimes before they ever happen, not to mention provide us a secondary police force." The scientist would say as he walked back to the group, which would walk out of the chamber.

Somewhere in Prussia

 Across Prussia, an unfamiliar voice could be heard saying "Attention, please. All autonomous units, mandate compliance with Contingency Plan Alpha-3. Submit and be subsumed." it said, it's voice echoing across the various cities. "New units being deployed in sectors three, five, and nine. All available units are to report to Hamburg in order to assist in cleanup operations." it would add. Many people would ask what was going on, but the government remained silent on this matter...
