To any of the uninitiated, Worm is a web serial novel based in a world of superheroes and supervillains in the urban scale fantasy of a world quite like our own. The story revolves around Taylor Hebert, and her newly gained powers. However, the world of Worm is no friendly and cheerful place. White and black morality exist only as shades of grey, heroes are not as noble as they may seem and villains may not be as evil as they appear, and the presence of superpowers has not necessarily changed the world for the best.
