Prince Hunter of Bavaria
From: Gérôme Rouzet Subject: Summit Date: October 11th, 2017 To: Deputy Foreign Minister C.C: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] --Original Message----- From: Laurentia Foreign Ministry in Bordeaux <[email protected]> To: undisclosed-recipients:;: Sent: October 11th, 2017 The promotion and protection of human rights internationally Laurentia is very supportive of creating an internationally accepted set of Human Rights, and has been a prime advocative of Human Rights across the world. Laurentia is supportive of created an international human rights charter or document The use of international diplomacy to avoid unnecessary bloodshed Laurentia supports this motion, and would like to draw parallel to the Bordeaux Accords which ended the Britannian-MoG[Corp] War. Laurentia supports any neutral and open organization to become a place of discussion to avoid war The promotion and protection of democracy and democratic rights internationally (this will come with a pledge by attendees to not trade or give aid to dictators) While we support the promotion of democratic ideals, especially the rights of citizen and man. We do not support the export of democracy. Democracy comes at it’s own time, and when both the people and situation are ready. We urge this discussion to move to promoting democratic rights, and not turn into the expansion of democracy and an idealistic world police We will not support this motion due to the term “dictator” being possibly being used with all of Laurentia top trading partners as well as a loosely defined definition. We disapprove of singling out non-democratic nations We discourage all nations present from signing any agreement that limits or prohibits trade with “dictators” Condemnation of sweatshops and the countries that use and allow them. (this will come with a pledge by attendees to not trade with any nation which uses or allows the use of sweatshops) While we disagree with Low-Labor, we must bear in mind that for some states it is either the only option, and to not trade would further weak the economies of some very fragile states. We also want to note that the more productive idea would be financial assistance to these states to elevate the standards of living and help the citizens. Laurentia will not sign any agreement to cease trade with states or corporations that have sweatshops Nuclear Disarmament (a pledge from attendees to not seek to obtain, or use nuclear weapons Laurentia will not dismantle its Nuclear Arsenal. We will however, be willing to limit both our expansion so long as other nations do so. As well as willing to agree to a non-first strike policy Laurentia will not agree to any nuclear dismantlement unless on a global scale Promotions of nuclear energy over coal and oil Laurentia 2020 vision has seen energy based cars, increased renewable energy access, and a higher demand in less polluting mechanisms Laurentia supports the promotion of Renewable (not only nuclear) energy Talking Points sent to the Laurentian Delegation Delegation consists of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Secretary of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Crysta Kitchener Special Envoy to the UNO Toma Blair Ministry of Foreign Affairs R.
