Fix the spy system

It takes a month to build up spies that are then wiped out in one day, leaving a nation completely indefensible from an unidentifiable enemy.  Should nations be able to run spy attacks to gain increased odds on their operations?  Absolutely.  Should that result in a 100% success rate after only one day of targeting spies on a nation that has 60?  Absolutely not.  Fixing this is as simple as reducing the number of spies that can be assassinated in each attack, or increasing the buy rate of them.

Remember, people complained forever to "fix the market" and when he did, everyone's economy got hosed and we ended up pretty much in the same place we were before...

Lol. So 2 days of 100% protection for your nukes, and reducing 1 more nuke kill every 2-3 days is insufficient protection? Give me a break.

Spies have 3 main uses:

1) Kill people's nukes

2) Kill people's spies

3) Protect your own nukes from others' spies by reducing their chance of success as long as your spies live.

If the spy rebuild rate is going to be increased, it needs to come coupled with a higher chance of sabotaging nukes when the opponent has more than 2-3 spies. Else, nukes will be invincible until they are used.

Spying a nuke away and killing someones spies should not be *basically* guaranteed. Sure you might miss one, but that's about it. That does not aid in creating dynamic game play, nor is it remotely realistic.

All other military can be maxed in a lot less than 20 days. A little equality would be nice for the spy system. Make the max buy for spies into 10 a day and the messed up system sorta corrects itself.

 

Why would anyone even target nukes? They suck right? A losers weapon? The only people that have anything to fear from nukes are the ones that are seeking their attention. I get it, when you hold yours in your hand, you are left wanting.

If you remove the ability to use spies to sabotage nukes, then spies become *completely* useless. That makes the game less dynamic. It would be equivalent to removing spies altogether, because they aren't remotely useful for anything else.

You suck at reading.    Nobody has said to make it impossible to do.  We are only asking that it no longer be impossible to stop.  You also sucked at reading your league of extraordinary douchebags thread last year when I warned you of the consequences of this crap.
