Dubayoo
1) It will make peacetime more exciting since there's still PvP competition. 2) It will make sense instead of just having arbitrary commercial activity. 3) It can create volatility instead of the flat commerce upgrades. 4) It will increase the money supply in the game so resource prices recover. Players should be able to invest in companies, corporations, and conglomerates that actually harvest, process, and manufacture with natural resources. Those resources would be delivered via logistics improvements to retail outlets or traded on the global market. Companies would do one of these activities, corporations would do two, and conglomerates would do three. From there, income would be determined by demand supported by civilian populations, and market share can be competed over within countries by investing in advertising and product quality. Joel James
This seems like a lot of extra work for very little, if any, return. What would be the point of this. And please don't say "cuz reality".
Dubayoo
It makes the game more elaborate and involved so people have a form of competition outside of completely destroying each other. The game has long periods of time between wars where people are stockpiling resources. It might as well make that stockpiling period competitive so it really is a social strategy game.
