Dubayoo Posted May 23, 2017 Share Posted May 23, 2017 1) Establish subsidiaries, colonies, vassals, client states, etc. where the major alliances engage in proxy wars. 2) Establish mercenaries who fight for hire. 3) Have the major alliances jockey for position in controlling protectorates, especially since protectorates are at lower ratings that major alliances can't actively engage. Basically, it's like how the Greek Gods had mere mortals do their bidding. The Gods couldn't go down to Earth themselves or else they'd lose their immortality. Their goal was no longer to win themselves, but to sponsor others to win and see who could sponsor more winners to become the most influential in the world.
