Frederick Posted May 17, 2017 Share Posted May 17, 2017 (edited) The Hellenic Empire Nikolaos Metaxas, a charismatic leader and inheritor of the legacy of Ultra-Nationalist leader Ioannis Metaxas, has officially been named Hegemon of the new Hellenic Empire. The Empire has risen from the ashes of a much weaker and broken Greece which suffered both from economic and cultural turmoil. Now, the Greek people rise much stronger with redefined purpose in irredentism and national rebirth. No longer will Greece remain the home of antiquity and old corpses- a mere shadow of the great people they once were. Greece was once the center of intellectual and cultural development in Europe and Nikolaos seeks to march to a better future with this ever burning flame of the Hellenic people. For future and for Hellas! To achieve his first goals upon attaining power, Nikolaos has re-established the National Youth Organization which is meant to cultivate positive Hellenic values and patriotic cooperation within the people. The youth-as the future blood of the nation-will be honed like a sword; trained in athletics, military parades/marches, military training, reforestation, and community service. Both boys and girls will be admitted to this mandatory youth program where boys are trained for occupations in military, science, or statesmanship. Girls will be put through their own class with a very similar program where they are honed to be strong and healthy for good motherhood. Additionally, those who graduate are decorated with the golden laurel wreath; representing their service to the Hellenic Empire. The overall purpose of this program is to achieve a true meritocracy to ensure all healthy Greeks can achieve the very best for both themselves and the Fatherland. Nikolaos has made a declaration of one of his primary goals of making the Hellenic Empire a homeland and testament to the Greek peoples. The Empire will champion the synthesis of both ancient Hellenic and Christian Byzantine culture. Eastern Orthodoxy continues to be recognized as the official religion, but there is a very apparent show of respect to the old gods of Hellenic people such as Zeus and Poseidon. He begins to speak as he walks closer towards Nikolaos "Ah, another strong leader leading strong people by guiding them through religion and tradition. A wonderful way to rule, if I say so myself. I am Cheonsa, Heavenly Emperor of Amenria. Our similarities in the way we lead are reason enough to be friends, so how about it?"
