Human Trafficker Sentenced to Life 

Eric Young was sentenced to life in prison without parole. As those of you who don't recall, Eric Young was connected to human trafficking that was revealed to be more on an international base. While investigations on the international scale had stalled (OOC: me burning out of steam and letting the event die which I apologize for), it was no secret that Eric Young was guilty and thus a trial was more a formality than a necessity. As Eric Young was given his sentence, those who were waiting outside the court cheered and continued to when he was being escorted. Still, it was also revealed that Eric Young could obtain some perks or even possibly leniency if he was willing to provide more information into his former business dealings. So far he has remained silent.

 

Chipping Program Set to Restart

The death of several criminals that came from malicious intent had resulted in the delay of the controversial chipping program. The plan was to possibly have it restart when the investigations and convictions of those charged were concluded but Rei Guan had announced it would be restarting early once the checking and training of new staff would take place. The program was already under scrutiny for possible human rights violations, which had only increased with the recent incident. Rei Guan has yet to make a statement on the restart.

 

Special Announcement From the Empress at the Palace

"My first announcement would be against this group that is called the Fangs of Hell. Let me start by saying you're kind are cowards who aren't even worth much of my words. Those who think sacrificing human life for selfish purposes are even less than bugs and do not make it far with their intentions. I have ordered increase security for Wintery and ask those who have dealt with this organization to send Wintery any relevant information as we have intentions of helping to put a stop to them. 

 

-she shook her head in disgust before her expression somewhat lightens up-

 

"My second announcement is something that is more bittersweet to those who might know me. As you are aware, my daughter's giving birth to my grandson - and yes I think it'll be a boy - soon. I've taken the role of being a grandmother seriously if you were to ask her or her husband and as I did I have also come to a conclusion. My son, First Prince Ericson, has been taking more and more responsibility. Originally, it was to help him learn as he finally steps up and becomes emperor. At the end of the day, I signed off on anything major that involved our kingdom. But now as I have seen him handle himself on not only a national but international stage, I have decided it is time to finally admit something. I want to focus on simply being a grandmother and that mother who bugs her other two children to find their special someones. And while I am happy for my time leading my kingdom, my time to rule is coming to an end and it will officially end once Lucia gives birth. Plans to have Ericson fully coronated are being set and son enough he will become emperor. A celebration for this will be set once the incident with the Fangs of Hell have calmed. Thank you."

The United States Government hope the Wintery to delay the execution of Eric Young. We need him as justice collaborator as i trusted he can give us information about the network of trans-national human trafficking.

 

Personally, i would like to congratulate Prince Ericsson for his new child. And we appreciated the appointment of Prince Ericsson as the next throne of Kingdom of Wintery. As Kingdom of Wintery is one of the first country which established relations with us. We also appreciated the Empress Amarylis achievements while he was leading the Kingdom into eternal glorius.
