There are a number of variables to consider when choosing an alliance to join; taxes, protection, attention, wars, investment, etc. Right now, I just want to build up my country, so I am looking for an alliance that would help in that effort for now. Resplendent looks interesting for it's low tax rates. Knights Radiant could be good for the protection, being one of the largest alliances. The Lordaeron looks good for its high investment. I was also asked by a guy whether I would create an alliance with him, which seems to be an interesting offer, but I'm not going to hold by breath on that one. I haven't made my mind up yet.
