Vicente Martinez Posted April 22, 2017 Share Posted April 22, 2017 The Brazilian military council has made a decision to replace it's ageing fleet of Flanker Helicopters with a newer,more effective gunship,called the PA-85 Hunter. The Hunter is intended to be a heavy utility helicopter,however it also has the ability to assume gunship and transport roles,making it a suited multirole helicopter. The Brazilian government will order 12 of these helicopters from the local company Oraqia,the Flanker Helicopters will be sold for scrap metal and the money saved will go towards infrastructure spending.
