Today I recieved this message:

You have received a strike! A moderator has issued a warning to your nation. You must correct your gameplay behavior or risk being banned from Politics & War. Once you reach 3 strikes, you will be banned. The message from the moderator to you as part of the warning issued is:

War Slot Filling - After further thought, I do believe you absolutely were war slot filling, and had the ability to launch much more powerful airstrikes. You've obviously since launched a real attack, but for the sake of fairness, you are being warned along with the others. Do not war slot fill again.

Tell me Sheepy, why would I waste my resources when others were already fighting? Are you telling me I must, absolutely, fight with the maximum amount of military I have when I fight? I cannot decide how many planes to send into battle for my nation? I must launch all my aircraft(mind you, he had more than me at the time, so I would've lost).

Issuing me a strike simply dictates how players must play the game. If you issue me a strike, I demand you issue https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=26596 a strike as well. He had the ability to send more powerful ground attacks, but he didn't. If you wish to warn me, you must warn him, by your own analysis.

You declared the war, and then didn't do anything but throw away some planes. That's not a real war, by any reasonable person's analysis. You obviously had the capability, yet you purposefully chose not to. That qualifies as war slot filling.

The other player was declared on - it's much harder to say whether they could have attacked you with more forces or not. Right now they have 0 soldiers, so they can't even launch a ground attack. However, if I find them complicit in the action, I will issue them a strike as well.

I did attack, your game misled me on what a dogfight utter failure could do.

Emperor Kastor of Iridocyclitis ordered a dogfight airstrike upon the nation of The States of Armacham and eliminated 3 Resistance. The attack was an utter failure. Emperor Kastor's forces lost 3 aircraft, while Head-Director Aristide's defenders lost 0 aircraft. The attack destroyed 0.00 infrastructure in the city of Restius Capital.

I was under the impression I was removing 3 resistance with every attack. However when I realized I wasn't. I was going to address the bug with you. Before I could, I was reported and actually explained it there as well.

You're going to give me a nation strike for your error?

Independent of the individual issues above, where do one ship beiges fall on this spectrum? Sorry if wrong area, but I am curious since that has the intent to beige as quickly as possible without necessarily causing as much damage as possible.

Context is pretty important in that regard. Kastor was sending 3 of his 450 planes against 650 odd planes (in his second case of war slot filling that got him the second strike). He knew that 3 planes would do no damage to both his enemy's plane count, infra and resistance yet he still did it.

On the other hand, using one ship to beige people is a perfectly valid tactic as it only works against nations with no ships. It damages their infra but its main goal is to wear down the enemy resistance the most MAP effective way and quickest. You will never see people using one ship against 10-20 ships.

1 Ship attacks are perfectly legitimate, so long as your opponent has no ships (or if you had, say, only 1 ship.)

Here Alex goes, telling us how to attack each other with OUR nations.

Yup. If you haven't noticed, that's exactly what the war slot filling rule is - telling you how you cannot use wars. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that.

smh talking about logic in relation to Kastor.

I know, I'll get warned for this. Opportunity was too good to pass.

You're not going to be warned, this particular subforum is not a No-Discussion forum.
