Nexus(Previously Known as Balem) 2017.04.2018: The Milky Way Initiative is a non-profit Organization based in the city of Nexus, previously known as Balem. Our primary goal is to extend Humanity's grasp further from the Sol Solar System, and have been dedicated in secret for some time. With readily financial backers, and front companies to ensure MWI financial needs to complete its mission, the mission to colonize other worlds. The MWI is currently actively recruiting civilians around Orbis for this noble cause. The Milky Way Initiative is currently Chain of Command is rather simple, Director of the MWI, is the Sole Leader of the Initiative, and answers to nobody, while there is directors for each department, the Directors in the Inner Circle hold significant power over the initiative, however still require the Director's approval unless all four directors vote unanimously, which will overrule the need for the Director of the MWI Initiative. However as a check-and-balance system was decided was necessary, the Director of the MWI can call for a meeting with the Court of Justices to overturn the decision. The Court of Justices, 5 members in total, will take a vote, determining if the Inner Circle's decision violates the Charter of the MWI, and could cause damage to Public Relations with the public, and cause damage to it's mission. The Four Directors in the Inner Circle is currently: Director Of Colonial Affairs, The Director of Communications, The Director of Colonial Security, and the Director of Scientific Development. Each department is currently held as the highest priority in the initiative and will come first in all matters. The Department of Colonial Affairs shall ensure the MWI's colonizing efforts are pursued at a timely manner, failure to do so can and will be a cause of termination. If the Director is the cause of the failures of the department, the Inner Circle -excluding the Director of Colonial Affairs- and the Director the MWI shall take a vote to either terminate his/her services. The Department of Communications and Public Relations shall ensure to keep open communications and push for a positive outlook to Governments and other Organizations. Failure to do so can and will be a cause of termination. The Department of Colonial Security Affairs shall ensure the safety of our Associates, and our investments with the use of the Security, Militia, and/or APEX(Elite Military Forces) Units. The Director of Colonial Security has the right to call a State of Emergency if reasonable beliefs the Initiative could become under attack. Only the Director of the MWI can overrule the Director of Colonial Security's decision of a State of Emergency. During a State of Emergency, all non-essential departments shall be suspended until further notice. All non-essential personnel shall be evacuated, along with vital technology and blueprints, to a safe location until we can ensure their safety. The associates effected by the State of Emergency will still be paid to ensure they do not lose their income to pay their bills. If any associate fails to receive their paycheck during a State of Emergency, they are required to file a report to the Global Integrity Department.
