Yay or Nay? Teaching Sexism, Homophobia, and Racism to young kids

  1. 1. Women should be servants to men, Homosexuals should be hanged, Blacks and Jews are subhuman... are these acceptable things to be taught to young kids?

    • Yes, I agree with ComradeMilton and fully support the teaching of young children such things.
    • No, I agree with Rozalia in that such a thing is wrong and insane.

How can I admit something with your own word here? You literally just made up a quote to attribute to me in this paragraph.

You have twenty people that disagree out of thousands. Most impressive.

And what did I make up? I said something. You accused me as having called you white. I said no. You repeated. I asked for evidence. You excused yourself and said you did not have to provide such things. I went and found it and presented it. You now say I am making it up. What a joke.

Thousands? Would it not be millions? Or do you mean the thousands playing this game? Lol. Sorry but the populace of this game aren't majority Islamist/Nazi/KKK/so on that would agree with you. Heck even some of those I know think you're completely insane.

The idea that outlawing forms of speech is the best protection against those forms of speech is pretty silly.

Completely irrelevant. This is the matter of teaching such things in schools to young children. If Milion or whoever wants to be racist they can be, no place being taunt in the classroom.

He used a terrible quotation nest so I may have erred

They say so and that they're laughing at length at Roz.

Yeah, I'm surprised how few people have so far indicated support for our Constitution.

This is what I referred to. Please direct me to where I indicated this or said it.

Is the shame receptors in the brain kicking in at last? A terrible quotation chain that so? I don't think so.

I think NeoNazis have the right to teach as they see fit. That's not supporting them, it's supporting the Constitution.

There are others where you directly support Nazis and other types teaching racism/sexism/homophobia to young children. In fact by your comments any Americans against children being taunt such things if they happen to have a teacher of such an ideology is downright unAmerican. Utter lunacy.

I'm sure I'm bothered what your friends you've said are too afraid to face me think. Not many from the looks of it either.

Seems to be clicking that the focus test consisting of your friends doesn't tell you the truth of the matter.

What happened to "I'm not your servant?". For someone so ready to tell others you won't do something like that you sure want others to do it for you. Of course unlike you I don't need to use such weak defenses.

I write an immense amount of stuff per day. I don't remember everything I type and your ridiculous method of replying just makes it ever less likely I'll bother reading yours or looking back to see what you're referring to.

Like I said. You write so much garbage that you admittedly forget quite a bit of it. Oh and once again as this quote is being put again, you are the one with a ridiculous method of replying.

Decided the alarming (if modest) number of people supporting Roz was getting a tad out of hand and could use another example to help clarify why horrific statements, groups, teachers and so on remain horrendous, but often provide a very useful justification the ACLU can use to continue securing more and more Supreme Court precedents which in turn increases protection of our Constitution and helps prevent its protections being watered down. So, Skokie, Ill.

ComradeMilton - Yesterday at 10:10 PM
yeah, if you have a problem with what i'm describing avoid ever donating to the ACLU.
one of their most famous cases was defending Neo Nazis against a predominantly Jewish town
at no cost to the Nazis
and themselves being mostly Jewish

Skokie has received national attention twice for court cases decided by the United States Supreme Court. In the mid-1970s, it was at the center of a case concerning the First Amendment right to assemble and the National Socialist Party of America, a neo-Nazi group. Skokie ultimately lost that case.

In 1977 Frank Collin, the leader of National Socialist Party of America, announced the party's intention to march through Skokie, Illinois. In the predominantly Jewish community, one in six residents was a Holocaust survivor or was directly related to one.

On behalf of the NSPA, the ACLU challenged the injunction issued by the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois that prohibited marchers at the proposed Skokie rally from wearing Nazi uniforms or displaying swastikas. The ACLU was represented by civil rights attorney Burton Joseph. The challengers argued that the injunction violated the First Amendment rights of the marchers to express themselves.

Per US Supreme Court: If a state seeks to impose an injunction in violation of First Amendment rights, it must provide strict procedural safeguards, including immediate appellate review. Absent such review, a stay must be granted. // On remand, the Illinois Appellate Court eliminated the injunction against everything but the swastika. The Illinois Supreme Court heard the case again, focusing on the First Amendment implications of display of the swastika. Skokie attorneys argued that for Holocaust survivors, seeing the swastika was like being physically attacked.

The Illinois Supreme Court ruled that the use of the swastika is a symbolic form of free speech entitled to First Amendment protections and determined that the swastika itself did not constitute "fighting words." Its ruling allowed the National Socialist Party of America to march.

Ultimate result is two new precedents and an ACLU total victory in strengthening protections of speech and assembly from being watered down by localities in an attempt to insert new powers over speech and assembly attempting to control an absolutely revolting group from fully exercising their freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. Amendment 1 strengthened via ACLU borrowing a group of Nazis for a short time.

It just doesn't get through does it? It. Is. Not. The. Same. Thing. Most people here I'm sure support a persons right to be a Nazi/KKK/Islamist/so on. Their choice. What they don't support is said people teaching young children the elements of their ideologies such as the noted sexism, homophobia, and racism. Your attempts to shame people on this matter is completely laughable.

Thousands? Would it not be millions? You believe millions of people have an interest in playing Politics & War? I guess it's possible, but that seems extremely unlikely.  Or do you mean the thousands playing this game? Lol. Sorry but the populace of this game aren't majority Islamist/Nazi/KKK/so on that would agree with you. Neither am I, so that works out very easily and positively. Heck even some of those I know think you're completely insane. Your supporters appear to be generally pretty filled with ignorance and arrogance at the same time.

Completely irrelevant. This is the matter of teaching such things in schools to young children. If Milion or whoever wants to be racist they can be, no place being taunt in the classroom. Absolutely may be taught in the classroom if that is an included part of their curriculum and have parental approval. The Constitution is far too important to limit the way you suggest.

Is the shame receptors in the brain kicking in at last? Shame about what, exactly? A terrible quotation chain that so? Yes don't think so.You don't have to respond to your poorly structured quote mess.

There are others where you directly support Nazis and other types teaching racism/sexism/homophobia to young children. In fact by your comments any Americans against children being taunt such things if they happen to have a teacher of such an ideology is downright unAmerican. Utter lunacy. Not quite. The parents need to agree to it and it needs to find itself.

I'm sure I'm bothered what your friends you've said are too afraid to face me think. Not many from the looks of it either. My friends do not play Politics & War. They're kept pretty busy as undergraduates and a graduate student with a full-time course load. Two of them often forget or just neglect two or three of the prayers each day. They spoke with the local Imam and they seem to see no issue with it. It's difficult to see Direct Messages without access to my account. I'm very comfortable with the number present there who have no interest in interacting with you, but fully support the Constitution.

Seems to be clicking that the focus test consisting of your friends doesn't tell you the truth of the matter.

What happened to "I'm not your serv" You've been so busy lying about my beliefs, things I've said or not said and what I do or do not support that it seemed unfair to not provide you and your fellow anti-Americans with a more comprehensive education about this matter. I'm taking some time off to do this out of generosity.

And what did I make up? I said something. You accused me as having called you white. I said no. You repeated. I asked for evidence. You excused yourself and said you did not have to provide such things. I went and found it and presented it. You now say I am making it up. What a joke. You also continually repeat that I support the groups involved in this discussion for some reason ignoring or not thinking about why a brief discussion with them is more than enough usage of them and that I do not personally support any of them or their actions and statements. I'm not sure if you don't understand, actively wish to disrupt these discussions with misinformation or some other motivation possess your stoulaunch clinging to what should by now be exceedingly obvious.

Thousands? Would it not be millions? Or do you mean the thousands playing this game? Lol. Sorry but the populace of this game aren't majority Islamist/Nazi/KKK/so on that would agree with you. Heck even some of those I know think you're completely insane. See above for you making up something here that you're about to say relates to me and then criticize as if it happened the way you portray it.

Completely irrelevant. This is the matter of teaching such things in schools to young children. If Milion or whoever wants to be racist they can be, no place being taunt in the classroom. Your opinion is not binding. You aren't a parent, teacher or financial supporter of such a facility and as such have absolutely no authority over the school, its students or anything related.

Is the shame receptors in the brain kicking in at last? What would I possibly be ashamed about?  A terrible quotation chain that so? I don't think so.You don't have to respond through the mess of it.

There are others where you directly support Nazis and other types teaching racism/sexism/homophobia to young children. In fact by your comments any Americans against children being taunt such things if they happen to have a teacher of such an ideology is downright unAmerican. Utter lunacy.  This is, again, not your decision to make.

I'm sure I'm bothered what your friends you've said are too afraid to face me think. Not many from the looks of it either. I don't think, beyond chuckling at you, they have given any consideration to facing you or anything else related to you.

Seems to be clicking that the focus test consisting of your friends doesn't tell you the truth of the matter. Well, for one there isn't an actual truth in any of this; it's all discussion and opinion. Your handful of supporters does not seem to be willing to put forth any effort into helping preserve our freedoms. Myself, Mohammed, Bashar and Abdullah were hanging out with me last night when I had them over for some drinks and they were shocked at your complete inability to understand this thread.

What happened to "I'm not your servant?". For someone so ready to tell others you won't do something like that you sure want others to do it for you. Of course unlike you I don't need to use such weak defenses. Due to your dangerously inaccurate opinions and hostility towards making use of some extremists to keep our freedoms safer than they were before I thought it might be worth taking a little time to explain how things like this work.

Like I said. You write so much garbage that you admittedly forget quite a bit of it. Oh and once again as this quote is being put again, you are the one with a ridiculous method of replying. Mine is much better at accurately preserving the conversational flow than yours.

In a normal school the moment a teacher decides to try to teach such things they get sacked and blacklisted. In those Islamic schools with the problem (many Saudi funded) that created the chain of quotes here that is not an issue and so it goes on.

Is them being students supposed to impress me? So these friends don't even play P&W apparently and so I have to ask how they could interact with me anyway and on top of that have likely not seen anything I've posted I bet. So you tell them I'm a big time racist or whatever and they don't want any interest in dealing with me? Oh, I suppose that shows me. Please stop, you are trying to kill people with laughter here.

Except that there has nothing to do with the matter of your accusation which is of me calling you white, but lets see.

I have not called you a Nazi, KKK, Islamist, or whatever. You do support their spreading of sexism, homophobia, racism, and other things. You hide behind your constitution but that is what you do.

By the large those sort of groups are going to be the only ones who'd agree that teaching such things in schools is acceptable.

Who are we to say disgusting racism is wrong and should not be ingrained in children? If Nazis want to teach young kids that the Jew is subhuman and needs gassing then damn it that needs teaching. What a joke.

You can decide what is unAmerican and I can't disagree. You have authority and I don't apparently.

Considering it'd take them to actually play the game I'm pretty sure they can't face me anyway. In fact going by the sheer madness of the views I'm not even sure these people actually even exist.

No. There are correct and incorrect statements. Truths and untruths. You speak solely it seems in untruths. Your talk that your friends showed how your view was supported by the majority is false, we even now have clear evidence showing that to be the case.

Yes. Everyone who disagrees with you simply cannot grasp the beauty of teaching sexism, homophobia, and racism to young children who are going to then grow up to very likely be sexists, homophobes, and racists... likely in a poor area too where they become more prone to crime... which then results in anti-homosexual/gay/so on attacks. If your "Liberal" Muslim friends support the teaching of such things to young kids then I would say they are not so Liberal at all.

I've provided more than enough evidence as to why it is the Conservatives that are the problem that we need to look at rather then focusing solely on the Radicals, who are a small minority who would have no oxygen to grow if not for the Conservatives. I'm actually looking at things. You just want to defend Muslims at any cost no matter how reasonable the criticisms might be.

No. I'm not going to put blue text or whatever to the right of your red for you then to respond with red to the right of the blue. The norm is to not respond within someone else's quote box.

He's actually trying to shame the people who said "No" just because they can't see the benefits of this (don't agree with him).Sad!

I just told my Afrikaner friends about this and they think you're absolute retard,I have no evidence, but that's perfectly believable, right?

This is spectacular.People are ignorant, arrogant and Anti-American just because people think that sexism, homophobia and racism shouldn't be taught in schools, not everywhere is America you know, this is in general, not specifically the US,but it seems you're resorting to shaming people when people disagree.Schools shouldn't be factories for racists and sexists, they should be factories for educated and decent people.Apart from "MUH CONSTITUTION",which only applies to 4.34% of the world, there isn't a good argument to allow this to happen, and it's even prevented in American public schools.

He's actually trying to shame the people who said "No" just because they can't see the benefits of this (don't agree with him).Sad! Not sad at all. If they can't see the value in temporarily using terrible political groups in order to grab a couple of new Supreme Court precedents to strengthen the First Amendment it's perfectly reasonable to spend a brief amount of time talking to hatemongers to get them precedents through.

I just told my Afrikaner friends about this and they think you're absolute retard,I have no evidence, but that's perfectly believable, right? Not really. The only people I see consistently posting incorrect information are you and Roz.

This is spectacular.People are ignorant, arrogant and Anti-American just because people think that sexism, homophobia and racism shouldn't be taught in schools,(Temporarily, yes) not everywhere is America you know, this is in general, not specifically the US Actually ,for my part this has nothing to do with anyone outside the United States. seems you're resorting to shaming people when people disagree.Schools shouldn't be factories for racists and sexists, they should be factories for educated and decent people.Apart from "MUH CONSTITUTION",which only applies to 4.34% of the world, there isn't a good argument to allow this to happen, and it's even prevented in American public schools. The fact that I'm using the argument you just posted as the one correct one that could be employed seems to have gone unnoticed by you while you're spending time not understanding what this topic is actually about. Roz helps with that.

Opinions can't be wrong. They can only be baseless (insert synonyms here)

Or sensible (insert synonyms here),though it seems your opinions go under the former.

Congrats, you're defending the constitution while this isn't even about the constitution, the constitution is mostly irrelevant, because it bans racism in public schools (aka most schools),not everywhere is bloody America you know.

WE NEED TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN WRIGHT! US A'MURICANS NEED TO TELL OUR KIDS THAT ISLAM IS TAKING OVER! WE NEED TO DEPLOY OUR MARK V JESUS-SHAPED FIGHTERS TO GO DROP GAY PEOPLE ON ISIS!

It's a useful mental exercise. Through the years, many thinkers have been fascinated by it. But I don't enjoy playing. It was a game that was born during a brutal age when life counted for little. Everyone believed that some people were worth more than others. Kings. Pawns. I don't think that anyone is worth more than anyone else. Chess is just a game. Real people are not pieces. You can't assign more value to some of them and not others. Not to me. Not to anyone. People are not a thing that you can sacrifice. The lesson is, if anyone who looks on to the world as if it was a game of chess, deserves to lose.

The idea that outlawing forms of speech is the best protection against those forms of speech is pretty silly.

Thank you, Auctor. I was beginning to wonder if anyone supported the Constitution anymore.

This isn't a Constitutional issue, but if we want to go there - I'm pretty sure the Constitution protects against any forms that can be classified as "hate speech".

I'm glad to see who likes the idea of teaching racism, sexism, and homophobia though.

Yes, I understand what you're trying to say, as in No to censorship, but you're literally arguing for the ability to teach children to be racist, sexist, or hate gays in schools.  Keep that in mind.

This isn't a Constitutional issue, but if we want to go there - I'm pretty sure the Constitution protects against any forms that can be classified as "hate speech". It's a absolutely a Constitutional issue. Our Constitution protects hate speech. Making use of people who believe the lunatics I'm referring to is basically the ACLU's main method of operating. I think they'd be able to score some very pleasant precedents by making temporary use of the rather objectionable people being discussed, just like Skokie.

I'm glad to see who likes the idea of teaching racism, sexism, and homophobia though. You're another one who can't see what I'm doing? Wow.

Yes, I understand what you're trying to say, as in No to censorship, but you're literally arguing for the ability to teach children to be racist, sexist, or hate gays in schools.  Keep that in mind. Yeah, unpopular speech or actions are the ones that require protection are helpful to normal people in the future via the precedents captured.

You are aware that each of those topics falls under hate speech, right?  Keep grasping at straws.  They don't do this for a reason, plus it's just not productive to begin with.

No, it protects against it.

>unpopular speech

You are aware that each of those topics falls under hate speech, right?  Keep grasping at straws.  They don't do this for a reason, plus it's just not productive to begin with. It's very productive. Most of our Constitutional defense is done via this exact method.

" This whole discussion is about the United States."

Because you say it is.You support this but you're just using your constitution in order to not look absolutely crazy. The constitution bans it in public schools aka most of the schools,so why bother?

" You're another one who can't see what I'm doing? Wow."

People know exactly what you're doing:Arguing for the ability to teach kids and teens to be racist, sexist and homophobic in schools.Obviously many people aren't going to love the idea just because you say it.BTW It's illegal and against the constitution to to this in public schools.

Go nuts and do your own argument about whatever you like. I'm talking about America. If you prefer a larger scope, make a thread about it. The Constitution bans absolutely

 nothing from public schools.

Nope. Making use of them, yes, supporting them, no. There's nothing in the Constitution with regard to any school and it's not illegal either.

In a perfect world where the stuff Milton says can change reality, sure man.

" An act to enforce the constitutional right to vote, to confer jurisdiction upon the district courts of the United States of America to provide injunctive relief against discrimination in public accommodations, to authorize the Attorney General to institute suits to protect constitutional rights in public facilities and public education, to extend the Commission on Civil Rights, to prevent discrimination in federally assisted programs, to establish a Commission on Equal Employment Opportunity, and for other purposes."

I'm sure you'll either pull that "useless" tactic or just try to do some immense maneuvering but hey,go nuts.

-snip-

That law has nothing to do with your argument.

It's not against the law for the ideas to be taught because it's being taught in private schools, not public ones. In fact, suppressing their "right to teach their shitty views" is against the first amendment. There's some irony in the fact that it would be easier to outlaw private schools completely than to stop them from teaching hateful rhetoric.

Did you miss where they'd need financial backers as a non-public school or what?

I mean if you're talking about private schools specifically then go nuts. But it's utter madness (from a liberal prospective) to allow this in public and private schools.
