I'd like to move 3 of my provinces in Scotland, the two on the main island and the 3rd which is an island off the coast.

They'd be moved to get Geneva, Zurich, and Bern.

I shall get a post up soon,

also, my borders south both Zurich and Geneva so I figured I could just claim them both. But whatever :D

Upon looking on a map, I found that the lower half of Italy was already taken, so I have revised claims to taking the rest of Italy.

I have revised my revision to take nothing but the area Rome is located in and Toscana.

(Map-wise, you're limited to a maximum of 50 provinces. If you go higher than that, I'll personally adjust it down until it's at 50, or ask you to re-do your own example until it fits within the 50 province limit. Note that expansion is allowed, but at a maximum of four provinces per month as to be as realistic as possible. This rule applies to nations under 50 provinces as well. Nations are permitted to own colonies, but at a maximum of 5 with no more than 20 provinces each. Provinces are unable to be moved from one location to another. Gifted land is also capped at four provinces per month. Land gained by a nation as a result of war can be more than this.)

(You are required to post at least once a month (no more than a month after your last post) in the national affairs subforum to remain active. This means creating your own topic, not just commenting on someone else's posts. Inactive nations will be removed from the map.)

Just a note: The Map has been updated, a very old version was accidentally put up so I apologize for any trouble.

Official nation name: (The Caesaropapist Conglomerate of) Dubayolis

Population (P&W numbers): 1,522,543

GDP per capita (P&W numbers): $2,925.29

Population density (sq. km): 89.56 people/sq. mi (not sure if that's realistic)
Form of Government: Parliamentary Federation with Inquisitorial Justice and Civil Law

Politics & War Wikia link (leave blank if you don't have one):

Describe your Nation IC: Dubayolis seeks a restoration of the three main concerns of civilization: due process, due diligence, and duty of care.  However, it doesn't believe this can be restored in many if any of the world's great powers, so it's sought out a thalassocracy among moderately sized islands to provide sanctuary among those who have been told, "If you don't like it, you can leave!"  Dubayolis itself doesn't believe in this mantra, but understands those who have been told it will want to go somewhere they don't have to subject themselves to it anymore.  Instead, it believes in remaining steadfast while insisting that those who stand their ground don't have to stand alone.

(Sources: Chrono Cross, Deus Ex, Total Recall, Blade Runner, Outlive RTS, Fallout, etc.... I'm familiar with more sci-fi and geopolitical intrigue than I can remember)

Describe yourself in OOC terms: I've RPed in geopolitical RPs for a rather long time.  I started after reading Ender's Shadow a few years after it was released and was captivated with the idea of countries like Thailand, the Netherlands, Rwanda, and Brazil independently coming together while Russia, China, and India had to be counterbalanced against each other.  After that, I played Superpower 2, HoI2, Victoria, EU3, and Supreme Ruler 2010, and eventually RPed in 21c Roleplay under the name Akeron for a few years, becoming economics moderator in the process which fit since it was while I was getting my economics degree.

As I got older though, I realized a lot of geopolitics aren't about power and money.  They're more about character, culture, style, and purpose.  My RP style changed dramatically, so I focus less on business and more on society now.  I also focus more on details than the big picture since the "big picture" is relative to scale.  If you're going to do something big, it better have all its parts taken care of.

Have you read, and do you agree to abide with, the rules? (Yes/No): Yes
(You must not have a history of continuous rule breaks in the national affairs subforum!)

Where on the map do you want to be located? (Using real-world geography/nations, or a self-provided map): Ireland, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia (including Prince Edward Island), Sri Lanka, Hainan, and Taiwan.  The territories seem to add up to 25 across all the islands, so it's not too big.

In addition, a colony is any islands or land away from the main body you get from signing up. (Islands very close to the mainland are exempted)

Oh OK.  I didn't see how you define colonies.  I figured we were RPing in the modern age, so things work differently than say the 19th century age of imperialism.

(I wasn't planning on expanding much.  The idea was just to have a bunch of islands come together away from any mainland.)

I'm going to have to think this over.
