Han Young Gi
What does your flag mean? Put your flag below and explain it. Here's mine : THE NATIONAL FLAG OF TAIYOCHI This flag was born after the revolutionary war, unification of Japanese and Korean people, and the long journey to the west. The flag literally has a meaning with nation's name itself. Taiyochi means the land of the sun. From the word Taiyo = Sun, and Tochi = Place, land The sun symbolizes the democracy and freedom of the people, and the red color symbolizes the power and strength of the nation. And the sun also symbolizes the nation's name. The white color of the flag symbolizes the holiness of the nation, as the nation's highest court is the Holy Court, and nation's law is based on agreement of 4 major religions. Eva-Beatrice
Rokkenjima's flag should be pretty self-explanatory to those familiar with the nation's rich history and past, but for those who are not, here is a quick explanation. The largest part of the flag, and arguably its most stand-out feature, is the background. It shows just a quick glimpse of the Meta World, a metaphysical realm that only witches may enter. Next, in the center of the flag, is the photo of Rokkenjima's current leader. This photo will differ depending on which planetary branch of Rokkenjima you are in. Thus far, there have only been two different witches pictured on Rokkenjima's flag. In the case of the nation's Orbis branch, the Golden and Endless Witch, Eva-Beatrice, is pictured. The horizontal arrows will always match the color which represents whomever is pictured. Lastly, there is the text. This line has appeared on all of Rokkenjima's flags to date, and will continue to do so. As far as its actual content is concerned, this quote was spoken in the seventh episode of Lady Beatrice's game of 1986. It is colored red, as it was spoken using the Red Truth, an absolute and undeniable ability that only witches may use. It holds a significant meaning for Rokkenjima's leaders and citizens alike. 2 Quote When the seagulls cried, none were left alive. "If life is a miracle, then death is a certainty." Cheonsa
The Black Dragon Flag, the National Flag of The Empire of Amenria The colours black and white represent Yin and Yang respectively, the sun symbol in the right represents the fact that Amenria is a nation that brings enlightenment to the world from the East. The Black Dragon symbol, which is a modified version of the standard crescent moon and star symbol, represents the pious nature of our people, and the Empire itself, which is an Asian Muslim Empire. The dragon also symbolises power, strength, luck, prosperity, heroism, nobility, wisdom, as well as the emperor himself. Ikhan
The Imperial Banner of Chernigov The many symbols of the flag represent many things, some well known, others not so much. For instance, the Burgundy background represents the blood spilled throughout the nation's long and troubled past. The star represents the ever growing influence of the reigning Dark Lord/Emperor, while the symbol in the center represents a station known as the "Starforge", which is one of the largest structures to ever be built in the history of the multiverse. The ring around the core is also believed to represent the capital, Chernigov Prime, while the core represents the Emperor himself. Lelouch Vi Britannia
The Britannian flag resembles the St. George's Cross, the flag of England, warped with the Union Flag of the United Kingdom. It bears a unique coat-of-arms. On the coat-of-arms, the lion represents royalty (or the Emperor) while the serpent represents "death and rebirth". ----
Flaga Najjaśniejszej Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej (Flag of the Most Serene Republic of Poland) The white and red colours of the Flaga (Flag) are the traditional Polish national colours since the XI century. These colours originate from the Chorągiew (Banner) and Godło (Polish Coat of Arms) displaying the Biały Orzeł (White Eagle) against a red field. The symbol is called the Buławne Ramię (Buława Arm). It is a stylised arm wielding a Buława, the Polish mace-like object traditionally carried by Hetmans and Marshals of Poland. While the Buława has martial associations, it remains a uniquely Polish symbol of authority. As such the Buławne Ramię symbolises the Polish People (Arm) wielding Polish authority and strength (Buława). The simple style of the Buławne Ramię ensures that it retains enough simplicity for easy replication. An easily replicated symbol is more appealling for the popular masses, and the Polish People needs such a symbol. The revised order of white-red-white colours from the traditional biało-czerwony (white-red) is based on several considerations. First, the white-red-white order is a pragmatic solution assuring the Flaga’s symmetry. Second, the order allows for the Buławne Ramię to remain at the Flaga’s centre while retaining the Godło’s white object/red background colour scheme. Third, no other national flag has such a colour order, whereas the previous biało-czerwony was an inversion of the flags of Monaco and Indonesia and lacked objective uniqueness. The Flaga’s 1:2 ratio is also symbolically relevant. The chorągiew of the Polish state has traditionally been square, sometimes having additional triangular attachments for decoration. The Flaga follows the same geometric tradition, while merely doubling the horizontal proportions for greater wind effect and to distinguish the Flaga from a heraldic banner.
