We officially claim our people free of French rule and under the protection of the United Forces of Cal. Our new Flag is a risen across every city and our nation shall henceforth be known as The United Kingdom of Cal, (UKC). Along with our forces were have been joined by the remains of the French army and space Empire. "Sir, HIS has a file for you". The Emperor looks up and nods. "Excuse me a minute will you," he says to the person on the other end of the phone. The Emperor walks over. "What is it". "I don't know sir" replies the aide. "HIS said something about independence" he pauses. He then whispers "You know much they talk." The Emperor chuckles. The aide hands the file over and makes his departure. The Emperor takes the file and walks to his desk. Carefully, he opens the file and starts reading through the briefing. "HIS interrupted me for this?"The Emperor chuckles and begins to laugh. A few deep breaths and the Emperor composes himself. He chuckles once more, before closing the file and returning to his call... "We feel our people have the right to freedom and with the recent capitulation of the French it is only sensible to make ourselves independent so to not follow in their footsteps.
