Gorath Games Needs You! (Maybe) (Actually the right area)

Greetings all, from the ever quiet bot.

 

As of late, We, along with a handful of others, have been working on a tabletop board game that shares qualities with Pathfinder, DnD, and GURPS. This game is heavily steeped in magic, and as such is centered around that (instead of DnD/Pathfinders "Equal Class System").

 

Any who,

  in the near future (we are hoping to complete the first Core Book by the end of May) we would need to run a Test Campaign, of which would wok out any kinks, and flaws with the game. That being said there are a few ways we hope to go about this.. The first method would be to join the Creators of the game in a Slack session, complete with dice bots, and lore bots, or we go with the individual groups, which would be provided with the rules, and a firm (but loving) shove into your own creative mind. Details Below on those two methods though;

 

 

Slack Session:

The Slack Session would involve somethings on your part in order to work (No worries on being left out, we will send out copies of a pdf that will outline the character creation and rules of the game, along with some general lore, and background)

 

What you would need is:

• At least 6 - 10 hours of free time (Ask a DnD-Buff, it'll take a while if you get into it)
• A Basic Understanding of TTRPG type games
• A sense of Creativity
• A bit of Patience, as it will be the "First" Out of Creator group game played.

 

 

Individual Groups:

This Group will have a little more time to do things, this will involve getting the rules (without the benefit of Non-Character Specific Lore) and nothing else. You will be shown the Rules, Races, Magics, Gods, Houses, and Starting Lore... That's it. It will then be up to you to write down whatever you think needs to be nipped in the bud (So-to-speak), and then create your own world to adventure in (Dnd and Pathfinder worlds work).

 

What you would need is:

• To finish and note a "full" Campaign within a week
• A Basic Understanding of TTRPG type games
• A Sense of Creativity
• A Group Willing to undergo this venture.

This Project will probably start at the beginning on April, and this may seem a bit soon to start looking for people, but We like to prepare ahead of time to make sure we have time to fix screw-ups.
